"Mommy?" I hear bryton ask
"i'm in the kitchen baby" I say
"I'm making a list so we can go to the grocery store" I say
'rin ring ring'
"It's Livvy,"
"Hello?" I say
"hey! what are you doing today?" She asks
"Well I'm going to the grocery store then I need to stop by the post office because Caleb ordered a rocking chair for Emmy's room because Bryton has one but not Emmy.."
"That sounds fun!" Olivia says
"Do you want to come I will probably need some help plus Bryton LOVES you!" I say
"Yeah can you pick me up"
"Yeah, I'll be there in 45 minutes" I say
"Okay love you bye"
"Love you bye" I say and hang up
"Okay lets get dressed!" I say
I walk into Bryton's room and open his closet I pull out a grey shirt and some jeans.
"here Bry lets put this one." I say trying to slip the shirt over his head
"Mommy no" Bryton says
"Bryton were going shopping with Livvy..come on lets get dressed so we can go." i say
"NO" Bryton says
"Bryton.." I say setting the shirt down in defeat.
"Pwease mommy" Bryton says giving me his best puty face.
"Do you wanna go hang with Livvy?" I ask him excitedly.
"Yeah!" He sqeuals.
45 minutes later we pull into the driveway. Even though I dont live here anymore it still feels like home. There's still a peice of me in that house, the 7 year old me running around with my pigtails bumping up and down as I run, the 10 year old me studying for a test up in my room, and most importantly the sixteen year old me staring at a plastic pregnancy test as tears slide down my cheeks.
I text Olivia and within a minute she's outside and getting in the car.
"Hey" I say
"Hey!" She says back
She immeadtly turns around and blows Emmy and Bryton a kiss. Emmy's asleep but Bry giggles.
"Off to the grocery store we go!" I say

When we get home from the grocery store I see Calebs truck in the driveway. he doesn't get home for a few hours. What's he doing here? I walk inside and There is a bundle of roses and a card with my name on it. I set Emmy's carseat down on the kitchen table and open the card. It tells me that we have a date tonight at an outdoor venue. Caleb then walks in.
"What is this?" I ask
"What does it say?" Caleb asks with a smirk
I smile
"I love you " I say
"I love you too" Caleb responds.

a few hours later we are headed to dinner.
I see a pretty porch covered in rose petals and string lights.
"Did you do this?" I ask Caleb
"Maybe" Caleb says
We get out of the car and walk over to the porch. Caleb tells me to close my eyes so I do when I open them back up he is down on one knee.
"Alexis ann Jones...Youre my best friend, the love of my life, the momma to my babies and the most beautiful girl I have ever met. You are constantly building others up and I just love that about you. I don't want to spend the rest of my life with anyone else.. will you marry me?"
I throw my hands over my mouth start crying and nod my head.
