Chapter half Valentine Special!!

[Marinette's POV]

I went to the apartment ignoring my friends which they understand. I slept rather comfortable even though my mood is not that great. I woke up, went to take a bath. and got dress. I didn't bother going with the rest since I'm still angry.

I went to the nearest Cafe, I order a strawberry shortcake and vanilla milkshake. I spend about two hours in there and eventually wen out. In my way there, I met Damian. "Hey Marinette" He greet me in which I nodded as an acknowledgement. "Do you wanna go on a date..." He asked which shocked me. Noticing my shocked reaction, he correct himself. "I mean as a friend!!" He correct. I giggle, somehow feeling that my anger began to wash away. "Hai! A friendly date?" I said/asked which he nodded. We starts to walk, talking about things that either related to Gotham or non sense. I enjoy it though, then we finally arrive at the amusement park.

"What do you want to ride first?" I think for a moment before answering. "Let's go to the roller coaster!" I didn't wait for his reply and just dragged him to the entrance. We bought tickets and wait. Finally it was our turn, we enter and sat.

[After the ride]

"Ahhhh! that was refreshing!" I yelled. "Anyways, what's with the red and hearts balloons anywhere?" I asked him. "Oh, did you forgot that it's Feb 14?" He asked back. Feb 14???, I must forgotten what date is today because of stress. "I see so that's why you asked me in a friendly date" I said. Suddenly, a thought came to my mind. "You... did you asked me in a friendly date because you don't really have a date this valentine?" I teased him. His face become flustered, ara ara~ I didn't expect the great Damian Wayne could blush. He clears his throat, an attempt to calm his flustered face. Which obviously didn't work. "I can have a date this valentine, I just don't want to" He said which confuse me. "Then, why did you take me in a friendly date?" I asked. Silence surrounded us, no word was speak after that until he broke the silence. "Cause... we're friends?" He hesitantly said. That word... it remind me of... NO DON'T TALK ABOUT HIM ANYMORE!!! He's not worth it.

"Let's just enjoy this day, alright?" I asked. "Alright" We went to different rides and games. It was amazing, expending the day with someone. After all that, I have so many plushies. Won by the great Damian himself, some were won by me. "Thanks Damian!" I said. "For what?" He asked. We are currently sitting on the bench at the park, it's 6 PM. "For accompanying me today" I said. Thanks to you I manage to calm myself. "I hope we can do this again!" I yelled excitedly. He smiles as he nodded. Hhhmmm, is our encounter planned or fate. I will never know. "I need to go now" He said as he stands up and started to walk away. "Sure but wait" I said as I stop him from walking way. "What?" He asked. "Can... can I call you Dami?" I asked. Oh my god!!! embarrassment is true. I can't believe I said that. There's just a part of me that want him to stay longer.

"E-eh, sure" He said, turning his back at me. "Thanks Dami! till we meet again!" I beamed as I went to my apartment. "Why so happy? Mari-hime?" 'Gami asked. I didn't notice that they are waiting for me. I just smiled, "Just went to a date!" I beamed as I went to my room and slept with a smile plastered in my face leaving a rather shocked and happy friends.

[Chloe's POV]

"What do you think happened?" Kagami asked. "She said she went on a date right?" Luka asked or confirmation. "Yeah, that's what she said" Nino confirmed. I just giggle, finding this situation rather funny. "Ridiculous utterly ridiculous" I whisper which heard by them. "Chloe?" Kagami asked. "Do you perhaps know something?" Luka asked suspiciously. "Maybe, maybe not, as par as I know. Sooner or later... our princess would already find her the one or let's say soulmate" I said as I walk to my own room leaving them also confused.

Perhaps, here in Gotham... You'll find your true happiness Mari-bug. Happiness that will stay forever, friendship that will last forever and family that will be with you in bad times and good times. You suffered enough pain, even Marionette cause she is your hidden feelings. Feelings that you decided to lock up just to look strong even though you're breaking inside.

I sat at my bed, I still remember the first time I saw you break down. A terrifying sight that broke our hearts. Also the starts of our friendship.

[Flash Back On~]

I was walking towards our room with Sabrina beside me. I saw Lila and Alya walking out of the girls bathroom. I got suspicious since after they got out, they started talking on how horrible Dupain-Cheng is to Lila. "Sabrina, go on without me" I said, no.. I demanded. "But-" "No buts, go now" I stated as I waited for her to walk away same with the people in the hallway.

I walked in to see her curl into a ball when crying, tears are flowing endlessly from her eyes. The first time I saw her broke down. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, what on earth happen to you?" I asked even though I knew. "B-Betrayal" That's all she said. I did what normal people would do I comported her. Telling her how amazing she is without her fake friends. It's true though, the only reason that I bullied her because I was jealous of her. On how she is always smiling and all of her achievements. I want my mother to acknowledge me like how her parents always praise her. I was just simply jealous.

She manage to calm down and thank me which I just said that I just did what a normal people would do. She smiles at me, a friendly smile. A smile which remind me that jealousy would lead me to nothing. After that, we went to our classroom together which shocked our classmate, we also got detention which we didn't mind. We spend the detention on talking about ourselves, knowing each other. A start of our blooming friendship.

[Flash back Off~]

I want to see her smiles like that again, a true smile. All her smiles this day are fakes or force. I wish I could do more that just to support her. I held all her secrets which I promise to keep and I intended to do. One day, Mari-bug... one day. Soon darkness is all I see as I slept wishing that one day, her suffering will stop.

[Meanwhile at the Wayne Manor]

[Damian's POV]

I had fun, being with Marinette is relaxing. "Oh, baby D? You're back... Where did you go?" Dick asked. "A date" I said as I sat at the Dinner table. Silence fill the house. "WHAT!!" Shouted by my brothers. "Who?!?" Tim hurriedly asked as the others also looks like they want to know specially Bruce who's staring at me wide eyed. "Marinette" I said. I started eating ignoring the murmuring or gossiping of my family. Several tick mark appeared in my head. "CAN YOU CONTINUE YOUR GOSSIPING AFTER DINNER!! Tt. So annoying!" I said as they finally quiet down.

After dinner, they finally asked me, we are still seated as Pennyworth took care of the table. "Did she calm down?" Bruce asked. "Yeah, though she is really angry when I first saw her" I answered. "She is scary!" Jason exclaimed as he remember the event yesterday. "Don't worry, she's harmless unless you went on her bad side" Dick said which I nodded. What a day!
