Nico's POV

It was my 2nd year at college and I lived in an apartment with 3 roommates.

Leo, Will, and Percy. Leo and Percy both had girlfriends who came over all the time. Will was single, but I definitely wasn't interested.

Alright that was a lie.

I was very interested, but he was probably straight and he was my roommate and if I didn't want to make things awkward.

One day we discovered a huge mold spot on his floor, so he couldn't sleep in there for a while.

"You could sleep on the couch" Leo suggested.

Will gave him an 'are you stupid' look. He then demonstrated how when he layed down on the couch his legs hanged off, he was also generally too big for the cheap couch we bought at a thrift store.

"Maybe I could sleep in one of your rooms" he suggested, it was a good idea. Just not for my room.

"Well Cal is over way to often for you to be in mine" Leo thought aloud
Please Percy don't betray me now.

"Same thing with Annabeth" Percy bit his nail.

"What about you Nico, plus your pretty small so there should be room for me" he said with an innocent smile that made my brain go blank

"Yeah that's perfect" Percy slapped him on the shoulder.

No it is not.

"Yeah, is that ok with you Nico?" Will asked. I don't know if I was ok with it or not.

"Uh, sure" I tried to sound normal and it guess I did.

Flash forward to the first night

I layed down and he put a few pillows in between us, but I could still see him if i looked over. I tried not to stare, but i kept glancing over.

I glanced over and I saw Will, who i thought was asleep, looking at me. Did he just notice me looking or was he doing the same thing I was.

He quickly closed his eyes once he'd realized I saw him. I closed me eyes too. I looked over one more time and our eyes met. I stared into his crystal blue eyes as he stared back at me.

I knew why I was looking but was he looking at me for the same reason? Did he liked me? Or was this just an out of the blue, random moment.

I wanted to look into his eyes forever. I realized how long we were staring, he seemed to also, and I looked away.

I closed my eyes and went to sleep, maybe tomorrow this won't happen, or maybe it'll happen again? I knew I wanted it to happen again.

I heard my alarm and leaned over to press the snooze. I guess Will was the type to get up right after the alarm because then he crawled over me to get out of the bed. Why was he crawling over me? Did he not pick up on the subtext last night?

I grabbed some clothes and went to change in the bathroom, no way I was gonna let him see how red my face was.

Second night

We were laying there again, I noticed he only put 1 pillow in between us insted of a few.

I just wanted to go to sleep, I enjoyed star gazing at his eyes but it just made my day confusing, yeah I already had a crush on him but I couldn't get him off my mind at work.

I could feel his eyes on me as I drifted off.

I woke up gasping for air. I had a nightmare, I got them often because of my PTSD.
