RUTS
Alpha experience ruts the same way that Omegas experience heats but instead of submitting, they feel the need to dominate. If they don't have a partner, they'll do the same thing a Omega does; lock themselves in their until rut is over.
NEST
A nest is basically a place an omega feels comfortable in for heats. For the most part, its blankets and pillows that they use to create a comfortable area to spend their heats... Sometimes you find stories where omegas have specific rooms for nesting with extra bedding and pillows specifically for nesting.
PHEROMES
Pheromones are produced mainly by scent glands on the wrist, neck, cheeks, and for omegas, gentials. In claiming a mate, alphas will generally rub their face and hands on the face and neck of their chosen omega, as an additional warning to other alphas that this omega is claimed.
SCENTING
There are a few ways you can think about scenting. The most widely used one is of alphas or omegas leaving their scent on a mate to signify ''mine.'' Scenting is basically rubbing scent glands (normally found in the neck ) on a partner, specifically their scent gland.
