Chapter 6

That weekend on Saturday morning Marinette was sitting in her room finishing up a faux leather jacket for Kon when Jon comes in, sits on her bed, and plays on his phone. Suddenly he gets jumps up in excitement "Mari!" startled she pricks her finger. She turns and glares at him before her expression softens seeing his excitement. "Yes?" She asks, he smiles "Noah invited us to his place to watch movies today along with Page, Chastity, Nora, and Damian. Wanna go?" She thinks for a moment "what movies?" He smiles "The How to Train a Dragon movies and maybe some Disney movies," she jumps up in excitement and dances around her room before turning to Jon "Yes I love those movies," he laughs and texts Noah a response.

30 minutes and Marinette and Jon were on the way to Gotham. They ended up bringing overnight bags so they could stay the night at Damian's place. They reach the Gotham Station and as usual, Damian was there to pick them up. Marinette skips over to him and instead of giving him the usuals hug then moving to hold onto his arm, she skips the hug and just moves to hold his arm. This upset Damian until she kissed his cheek, suddenly his pride swelled and he moved to hold her closer. He leads her to the car and closes the door behind him, Jon huffs and reopens the door and slides in, carrying not only his stuff but Marinette's as well. The other teens laugh at his misery as he just grumbles about ungrateful friends and sister.

They reach Noah's place and notice it's on the nicer side of Gotham. They knock on the door and from their side they can hear Chastity yelling followed by a loud thump sound and laughter. The door is opened by Page who steps aside to let them in. They look to see Chastity sitting on top of Noah with a prideful face as Nora laughs in the background. Page only sighs as she's the mom friend of the group, before leading Jon, Marinette, and Damian to the living room stepping over Noah as they go. Marinette ends up tripping on Noah's foot bringing down Jon as she goes, Jon brings down Page, who grabs Damian for stability taking him down as well, Damian ends up grabbing Nora's reached out hand causing her to get pulled down as well. All this led to everyone on top of Noah and Chastity who are at the bottom of the unintended mountain of kids. They all start laughing minus Damian who huffs in annoyance and Noah who was at the bottom of the pile, he groans in pain before muffling out "get... off... please," Nora being at the top helps Damian up before moving to Page. Damian just pushes Jon off of Marinette before helping the said girl up, followed by checking her for injuries. While this happens Nora helps up Chastity and Jon, Noah.

Eventually, all the teens get to the living room where popcorn and snacks waited for them there was a big couch in the middle with two chairs on either side places at an angle facing the tv which was mounted onto the wall. In the middle were a coffee table and rug. Chastity and Noah race to get a spot on the couch shoving each other as they go. Nora and Jon get a chair each as Page gets the last spot on the couch, she purposely sits in between Noah and Chastity. This leaves Damian and Marinette sitting on the floor in front of the coffee table, on top of pillows.

All was calm throughout the first and second movie but trouble started when they were halfway through the third movie. They were all laughing minus Damian when suddenly "You know the light fury is kinda ugly compared to Toothless," Noah states "The light fury is not ugly!" Chastity yells back before she starts throwing popcorn at him. Lucky for him her aim is a mess as she ends up hitting Page who annoyed with them joins the fight. Soon the popcorn war between the three takes a turn as both Jon and Nora get caught in the crossfire. It becomes an all-out battle when popcorn lands on Damian and Marinette who decide to team up and end up destroying the others. By the time the movie was over popcorn, candy, and sugar were everywhere. The teens look around the room and burst into laughter minus Damian who smirks in victory with Marinette laughing by his side. They all team up to clean the room before Noah's mom get home and they finish throwing the last of the trash away right as Noah's mom walks in the door. "Hello, kids how was movie day?" Everyone pipes "Hello/Hey Ms. Fleming/Mom," before giving her their thought of the movies and how their day went as she listens to everyone smiling warmly the whole way through before retreating to the kitchen to start dinner. "Who is staying for dinner?" She calls from the kitchen, Noah looks around and notices Damian, Marinette, and Jon told him no followed by Chastity. Nora and Page agree to stay, "Just Nora and Page Mom!" He calls back "Alright Hunny,"

Soon Chastity's Dad comes to pick her up as Alfred picks up Damian, Jon, and Mari. Everyone says goodbye before heading into their respective vehicles. "Master Damian, Master Jon, Miss Marinette, how was your evening?" He asks looking through the review mirror. "It was adequate, Thank you Pennyworth." "Of course Master Damian,"

They arrive at the manor and head to the dining room where Damian's brothers were already eating. They quickly join them before they could devour it all. The conversation is steady for the entire time until Bruce and Selina come in, Bruce does a double-take on seeing Jon and Marinette "Hello Children who don't live here," Marinette and Jon just wave at him and smile. "So my kittens how was movie day?" "It was good, we ended up having a popcorn fight halfway through the third movie though," Marinette signs. Selina smiles as does everyone else, happy Marinette is in a good place.

When the Waynes plus Jon and Marinette finished eating Damian led, Marinette and Jon to his room as everyone else heads out on patrol. Marinette went into the restroom to changed into her PJs and the boys changed in Damian's room. Once done they each did their own thing, Jon was on his phone as Damian and Marinette decide to draw. Damian and Marinette were seated on his bed suddenly Marinette starts lays her head on his shoulder and closes her eyes, letting darkness take over.

Jon watches as Damian looks at Marinette's sleeping form "You like her," Damian turns to Jon "what?" "You like her," Damian frowns "Tt I don't like her, I'm not sure what it is but it's stronger than like." Jon looks at him in shock before whispering "you love my sister?" Damian stares back before turning away placing his and Marinette's sketchbooks on his bedside table before laying down pulling Marinette onto his chest. "I think so,". Jon just watches before turning off the light and heading to his sleeping bag.
