The Talk

Corey took me back inside, and we went along to the corridor to where Corey said he thought Corey H probably was. It was the costume department.
"You really think he'd be here?"
"Yeah definitely, have you not noticed how much he comes in here just to hang out with you?"
"That's the only reason he comes in here? I should've known he wasn't really interested in my sewing tips."
"Who would be though?" Corey mumbled, I slapped him on the arm.
"I heard that." I said. Corey just shrugged and laughed.

Anyway, I opened the door, and I saw Corey H sat at the table with his head rested on his arms.
"You want me to leave you alone?" Corey asked.
"Yeah, please."
Corey nodded, then he hesitated, "But Y/n...please don't kiss him."
"I wasn't planning on it. Seriously Corey, chill."
"Ok, ok." Corey disappeared back down the corridor.
I shut the door behind me, went over to Corey H, and sat down beside him. I knew he'd heard me come in, he was trying to ignore me.
"Hey Corey." no response. "Corey, I need to talk to you." still no response.
"Ok do you just want me to go?" once again, no response. I got up, and started heading towards the door, but Corey H sat up "No, don't go. I'll talk." he whispered. I sat down again and took a good look at him, his eyes were red, and his face was shiny with tears.
(A/N: Istg I've just made everyone an emotional wreck in this, lmao).
"I'm sorry I ran off like that." I said, softly.
"Why'd you do it?"
"Because," I began, blushing, "You were saying all that stuff and if I kissed you it would be wrong. If you really liked me and I kissed you, it wouldn't be fair to you or Corey, and I don't want to hurt either of you."
"Bit late for that." Corey H mumbled, bitterly. "And how did you know I was for real?"
"Well because for an improv scene, I think you'd probably say more sweet nothings than confess your feelings wouldn't you? Oh yeah, and Corey told me."
"I'll kill him."
"I don't doubt that."
"So you really don't like me like that? At all?" Corey H asked, and for a moment he looked so helpless, like whatever I said next could completely crush him.
"Well...no, not like that." I said, trying to choose my words carefully, so I wouldn't hurt his feelings further,  "But I do like you a lot, and I really don't want to lose you as a friend. But Corey, why did you confess to me? And in a movie shoot of all places? Plus, you know I have a boyfriend."
Corey H shrugged miserably, "I don't know, I just...I thought maybe you'd like me too. And maybe if you kissed me again, you'd realise that. I didn't really think about the 'you already have a boyfriend' part." he said, putting his head on the table again.
"You weren't really worried about getting fired were you?"
"No."
I was in a very huggy mood today, "Come here." I said, I put my arms around him and pulled him into a tight, protective hug. Corey H put all of his weight on me, and he started full-on crying, like the sort of crying where no matter how hard you try, you just can't stop. Why was everyone crying so much?! I remembered when I didn't have to deal with this kind of thing. In school, I'd never had boys running up to me, confessing their love, and then running away again, most people hadn't given me a second glance. Yet now here I was, with two boys, two famous ones at that, who both liked me. I'm not that special! I'm certainly not worth scream-crying over.
I did my best to comfort Corey H, I rubbed his back gently, and kept my arms around him, but that was clearly inadequate, he was having a full-blown meltdown.
"I'm gonna be single forever!" he sobbed, "I'll never find someone else, no one's going to want me."
I raised my eyebrows, that was complete bullshit. Girls were always crowding around him!
"Yeah you will."
"No! I won't, and I'm not gonna like anyone as much as I like you!"
"You will, trust me you will." I could tell that nothing I said would make him feel any better, he buried his face on my shoulder, and carried on crying.
"Corey, please calm down. It's ok, you will find someone else, I know you will." I said, desperately.
"I'm so lonely! I can't find anyone. Please Y/n, please!" Corey H was holding onto me much tighter than what was comfortable.
"Corey seriously, calm down. You're not thinking properly, I can't. I can't be with you. There are plenty of girls that would die to go out with you, and you're only 16, you've got a lot of time. Please just try and breathe for a bit, calm down."
"Please Y/n! I don't know what I'm going to do." he sounded completely helpless again, like he was depending on me.
There was a knock at the door, "Y/n? You still in there?" Corey. Thank God.
"Yeah I'm still in here." I called.
"Can you let me in please? The door handle's really stiff from the outside."
There was no way I could get up out of this chair, "Uh no, I can't."
"Why can't you?...Y/n?"
"Please kiss me Y/n, I can't be happy without you." Corey H begged, he wasn't moving closer to me, or trying to kiss me. But I was extremely uncomfortable.
"Corey, wake up. I can't. I don't want to. Stop."
Corey H pulled away from me. "You're right." he said, "I'm so sorry, I don't know what I was thinking. I'm such a mess."
I put my arm around his shoulders, "No you're not, you're just upset. Seriously though, it'll be ok."
"No it won't. I probably will get fired now, for running out like that." Corey H mumbled, resting his head on my shoulder. It was at that moment that Corey managed to wrench the door open, he came into the room looking kind of scared. "Are you ok Y/n?" he asked.
"Yes Corey, I'm fine. It's all fine, now will everyone please just relax?" I gently wriggled away from Corey H, and got up to shut the door.
Corey was looking at Corey H now, who had slumped off the chair, and was sat on the floor, tightly hugging his knees to his chest.
"You ok?" Corey asked, "You kinda look a mess." that's it Corey, nice and tactful. Corey H shook his head, he regressed further, and stopped even sitting up, he just curled up on the floor and cried. "We need to take him home." I said, and Corey nodded.  We both went over to Corey H, took him by the arms, and helped him stand up.
"Come on, we're taking you home." I said.
"My dad's out with his friends tonight, I don't wanna be by myself." Corey H murmured.
"Ok then, you can come with us, but if you do then you stay in Corey's room, ok?" both Corey's nodded.

So, we started the walk home. Corey H seemed to be a little more sane now,
"I'm sorry about everything." he said, looking down, embarrassed.
"It's more my fault than yours though, so I'm sorry." I said.
"And I wasn't the one who got either of you into this situation, so I'm not sorry." Corey grinned, earning himself a kick in the shin from yours truly.
When we got back to our hotel, there was a note on Corey's door. It was on pink paper and whoever had written it had drawn love hearts and sprinkled pink glitter on it. Corey took it down, smiling as he read it. "Oh that's cute." he said after he'd read it, tucking it into his pocket.
"Who's it from?" I asked, already suspicious.
"Just a fan, she said she's about our age." Corey said.
"Oh. Nice." I tried to act unbothered.
"Yeah she said she lives close to here and she wants to see me and Corey H sometime."

Oh hell no.

(A/N: This part of the story kinda revolves around jealousy doesn't it? Well there's more coming. This chapter was kinda boring I know, but more interesting stuff will happen soon I promise! See you next chapter!😘)
