Few days later
"Doctor I've checked the results, and everything is fine"
"Good but please redo the test"
"I have already, twice sir" the nurse answers with a smile
"Unbelievable" the doctor says to himself
"Ana can I see you for a moment?" The doctor asked
"Sure" I answer and he walked us outside lizzy's room
"I have been a doctor for years Ana and I haven't seen anything like this before, when you brought lizzy here it was just a mere Malaria Parasite but then she had a seizure and then we found out that it was Cerebral Malaria."
"She went into coma and her brain swell, according to her test results she shouldn't be back from coma yet but she woke up." He talks
"Because of brain damage she wouldn't be able to talk or walk ever, that's why when I heard her call you and saw her walk I was shocked but that isn't all Ana, because of the brain damage she isn't supposed to be mentally stable meaning she should have been a meningitis patient but just look at her, she's talking, walking and she is mentally normal, I can't explain what I'm seeing, I don't know if this is a dream because this is not possible." He finished
"With God Joe everything absolutely EVERYTHING is POSSIBLE" I tell him putting emphasis on the word 'Everything and Possible'
"I believe that now" he says with a smile and I smile back
When we walked back into lizzy's room we heard her singing a gospel song
I just want to say baba o eshe, i just want to say baba o eshe
People were all gathered around lizzy's room listening to lizzy sing.
This is really God's work
God is great
This is God's grace
This is God's doing
Those were the comments of people who were gathered in the room
"Mummy can we go home now?" She asks me when she saw me walk in
"Can she leave now?" I ask her doctor
"Yes of course, she can, her test results are good so she can be discharged today" he tells me with a smile "And don't forget to meet the nurse to give the schedule for her check-up"
"Lizzy's we will be leaving today" I tell her and she laughs and claps her hands

After signing everything I needed to sign, lizzy and I walked out of the hospital hand in hand.
I tried remembering everything the doctor said about lizzy's condition about her not making it, about her not walking or talking again about her brain being disfunctional.
But then i look at my daughter and saw nothing but the grace of God working in her life.
Nothing but AMAZING GRACE
