"Am pregnant" I say and there was silence for some minute and I thought maybe he didn't hear me
"Hello, Tobias are you there?"
"Yes I am"
"Did you hear what I said?"
"I did"

"Who is responsible?"

How can he ask who is responsible when he knew he was the last person I slept with
"You are, how can you ask such a question"
"How do I know that you haven't been sleeping around before or even after I left"
"I didn't and its a month and two weeks old, and you have left here for a month and two weeks!"
"I don't care ana, you could have slept with someone before you came to my house, no wonder you looked sweaty"
"I was coming back from church and I ran halfway to your house that's why I looked the way I looked!" I practically scream
"Well you just have to abort the baby because my wife is expecting soon and I don't want to put any kind of stress on her" he tells me
Ok this is the biggest bomb that I felt

"So its true, you are married" I said not even realizing that i was crying until I felt something wet moving down my cheeks
"What did you think?, that I loved you, ah! You are much gullible than I thought" he tells me
"You used me Tobias, but I will forgive you if you just take responsibility for this child, your child, you have to"
"I don't have a child with you and just as I said before abort the baby!" And with that he hangs up
I cried a lot that night
Cried that I was used
Cried that I broke my promise to God because of that sick bastard
But then I stopped, if he wasn't going to take care of the baby, then fine, I will, am not the first single parent and I won't be the last
"I will take care of you little one, I will love you with all the love for me, I promise" I whisper to my baby, while robbing my tommy

And here I am taking care of my child, in the hospital
My child
Its been days now, doing the same routine
Taking a quick shower
Rushing to the hospital
Sleeping in the hospital room because I have to be awake at night
Leaving my mum or brother or sister to look after her so that I could get something to eat
Talk with my family until visitation hours are over
And then clean my baby's body when she starts running temperature
Its been hell on earth ever since but I thank god that everything is going out fine
"Hello ana" my brother greets me as he walks in the room
"Hey"
"Go and get some rest A, i'll take over from here" he tells me
"But-
"No buts" he cuts me off "and I promise to tell you, if there's any improvement" he says and I gave up and took my jacket from the chair and walked out
Getting to the elevator I saw Helen 'Tobias older sister'
"What are you doing here?" I asked as polite as I could be
"Tobias sent me" she says
"Ohh, I see, well I'll be going, she's in room 103 if you want to see her" I tell her and she nods
"Sure but I won't be saying for long" she says and I nod and walk in the elevator

After taking a good bath and resting for a little bit I went back to the hospital and saw my mother and David outside Lizzy room
"What's wrong why are you outside?" I ask but they didn't answer me
"David why are you outside?" I asked again but like the first time he didn't answer
"David!" I shout and I think that brought him out of the trance that he was in because he looks at me and his eyes are red
"W-we were playing with her and later on she fell asleep but all of a sudden she starts s-shaking, I don't know what's going on but the d-doctor is inside and nurses have been running in and out of her room" he tells me and my legs couldn't hold me any longer, i almost fell on the floor if David hadn't hold me
