Departure and...

When the final match finished, it was already time to eat dinner. We all got to the dinning hall and eat the food.( i know it's a barbecue but I'm too much of a lazy bitch to write it so it's a normal meal k?) We then packed the bus and took about 30 minutes to say our goodbyes to the other teams.

On our way back, I sat besides kageyama. I tough that the bus was really quiet when I realized that everyone except Takeda was asleep. I slowly felt myself drift to sleep like the others. I woke up to someone shaking me by the shoulder

"Hey! Y/n! Wake up. We arrived" Tobio told me gently
"Oh! Right, sorry Kags!" I said sleepily
We got out of the bus and started heading home after having a small meeting with the team. I was in front of Tobio's house saying goodbye when I felt a drop of water on my face.

"Hey! I think it's about to start to rain!" I said pouting " plus, my house is kindda far so by the time I get there, I'll be all wet!" Oh shittttt! That sounded like I was asking him to get in his house! Tobio's house... I wonder what it's like... I started to feel heat on my face, but kageyama wasn't able to see it because of the darkness and the rain

" Do you.... want to get in? My parents are away on a business trip for the week so they aren't home right know" he offered

I was about to refuse when the rain intensified suddenly and started to get all over me. I decided to enter his house. I'll just go after the rain stops . I hate to admit it, but I'm kindda curious about it too... I got inside and followed him to the living room

"I'll go take a shower, you can sit on the couch" he said pointing at the corner of the room

"O-Ok" i said making myself comfortable on his couch

Time skip to kageyama coming back in the living room after his shower

Kageyama's pov:

When I came back to the room, y/n wasn't on the couch. I searched the room for her and finally found her... laying on the floor in a corner breathing heavily. I rushed over to her and sat her up besides me, our back against the wall. I tried calming her up and knowing why she was having a panic attack . Shit! She was fine when I left five minutes ago!

"Hey, y/n, what's wrong?? What happened?"
""I-i... H-he called m-me... h-he said...h-he s-said t-that h-he's gonna f-find me a-and..." she started panicking again
"Hey, it's ok... I can guess the rest. Shut, don't worry" I tried calming her
"I-i'm scared" she then started... crying.

Since I was not good with words, my instincts took over. I took her little body and sat her on my lap, then hugged her. She's so...light! And frail... I've never seen her like that...

Y/n's pov:

He suddenly pick me up with his strong arms and sat me on his lap. Then he... hugged me. It was the first time anyone hugged you since your teammates in America. His embrace was so... comforting. It was as if he was telling me not to worry, that he'll always be there and that he'll support you all the way. I wanted to stay like that until the end of the world. Then suddenly, I don't know what took over me but I spoke the thing that was on my mind

"Kageyama?"
"Mhm?"
"I... love you... and I know you don't feel the same way but can you just... don't answer? Because right know, I feel like all my problems are solved and like I don't have a care in the world about everything. I know you will reject me but can we stay like this for five minutes? And because of what I just said I probably ruined our friendships and you're gonna hate me but-" " stop this boke" " So you already hate me... listen I'm really sorry I'll leave if you wan-" " let me finish boke!" He said still hugging me tightly " i don't want you to leave at all. Actually, i... i love you too" i heard him say putting his head over mine to hide his blush

I silently started crying

"Wait, nonono! Why are you crying? Did I upset you?" He said worriedly

"No, that's not it dummy... I just... I feel like the last person to tell me they love me was my mother..." ( so like her friends told her but she means in a family/lover caring way)

"Oh, I see... well I love you with all my heart" he said playing with my hair

" thanks Kags... I really needed this..."

We stayed like this for about an other 10 minutes until I realized the situation we were in. I was sitting on his lap and had my head snuggled on his chest gripping his shirt tightly. He on the other hand, was resting his head on mine hugging me affectionately. I started blushing as I retracted from the hug.

"Sooooo, do you really love me or did you say that to comfort me?" I asked avoiding his gaze and playing with my hair. He stared at me surprised during a little moment before a smirk started forming on his lips. I was already stressed after my question but his silence scared me even more. I lowered my head looking at the ground.

"It's ok, I underst-" I started but I stopped because I felt a hand gently picking up my chin and lifting it up until I met his eyes. I averted my gaze trying not to look directly in his eyes as he still held my chin

Suddenly, I felt his soft lips crashing into mine. I widened my eyes as I realized what he was doing. He was tasting a mix of milk and strawberries. I closed my eyes as I appreciated the moment and wishing for it to never end...
