" Tang Cien ... you can do it! "
The 18 year old Cien tapped her feet nervously on the floor as she wished that the bus would stop soon and reach her destination. The whole ride towards the new agency that she signed up for nerve wrecking. Cien got down and walked towards the agency area for almost ten minutes and was in front of the agency. Her feet turned cold and all the little Korean phrases that she learnt left her mind the moment she stood in front of the door.
" Jiayou! "
She took out her trainee card that she got the day when she met with the casting team and showed it to the guards, only when her identity was confirmed, they let her in.
The moment she stepped inside, she wanted to cry. The building was too big for her to recognize and almost everything was written in Korean and she doesn't even know the wifi password of the agency or even speak Korean. She regretted her decision of not taking Korean as her side subject back in highschool when her brothers asked her to take the subject.
She couldn't find any one around whom she could ask for directions. " Am I really getting lost on the first day? "
She then felt someone tapped her shoulder and turned around to see someone with blonde hair and having the infamous Goo Junpyo cut with a tall nose bridge, who screams ‘I am also Chinese’ in his face.
" Are you the new Chinese trainee? "
Cien's eyes immediately brightened up when the guy spoke in fluent mandarin, she nod her head " You speak Mandarin? and well yes , I am Cien . Táng Ciēn , the new trainee from Luoyang "
He smiled and started leading the way with some juice in his hand " I am Wen Junhui , you can call me jun . Born in 1996 "
" Woah nice to meet you Junhui , I was born in 1995"
Cien really thanked God for sending Jun to her rescue and didn't have trouble searching the room and getting lost for an hour. After meeting with the CEO she went to the practice room with Jun but she could hear a lot of shouts and laughter while running sounds echoed the hallway
"Wait is there any violence going on?"
Junhui didn't know whether to laugh or cry seeing how concerned Cien was and he just shook his head, wondering how the new girl's expression will be after witnessing the green room's scene "This is not violence , it's a normal thing here. Come I'll introduce you to them"
Junhui opened the door and entered while Cien came in slowly but was greeted by a man on floor who just got hit by something probably, and three boys dancing to Replay by SHINEE , then the one holding guitar and writing something, completely unbothered by the chaos with a female trainee playing with a small boy.
The amount of chaos that is going on right now... Did I enter a circus or a practice room?
"Seungcheol - hyung the new trainee arrived"
Junhui literally shouted and the chaos stopped with 8+ pairs of eyes on her , Cien immediately felt awkward but came in and gave a deep bow as the trainees all gathered together in a circle almost circling the newbie.
"Hello .... I am Tang Cien , a new trainee from china"
Cien had a thick mandarin accent but she learned that for 4 days but the accent didn't help and the trainees all smiled while clapping their hands.
" Cien-jie ... they are all trainees here , he is Choi Seungcheol the oldest among us , Yoon Jeonghan , Joshua Hong who also came last month here , Kwon Soonyoung , Jeon Wonwoo , Lee Jihoon , Kim Mingyu , Lee Seokmin , Boo Seungkwan , Kim Jiho , Eum Chaemin , Chwe Hansol , Lee Chan and Samuel Kim"
Cien knew that it will take her two weeks to remember all of them so she made sure to remember a special feature of each of the trainees and few names were easy to recognize
" I hope we can be friends "
Cien looked at Junhui who translated for her and the trainees all clapped their hands and shook hands with each other then, the young Boo Seungkwan turned on the music which was SNSD's GEE and everyone started dancing while Cien was left in confusion to see them all suddenly starting to dance.
" This is a way of welcoming new trainee. join us "
The girl who was shorter than her with a bright smile spoke with broken mandarin but Cien could understand what she meant and smiled then joined the dance .
As they finished the dance they all clapped their hands together and sat in a circle as Cien sat between a female trainee named Chaemin and Chan.
Despite the language barrier the others never failed to make her happy and cheer up, understand her and she didn't regret being friends with them. Her first time meeting with her future members was actually chaotic and bright .
