Your POV:

A warm summer breeze kept the day alive. A day consisted of bike rides, ice cream cones, and just laying in the park. Our fingers laced together, held against the sunset; our bright future. My head set upon his chest, the way it's always been. His fingers comb through my sprawled hair. My arms stretching towards my bag, pulling out a pen. I moved us, so that we were lying on our stomachs. With his left wrist close to me, I took it. My pen sketching the letters onto his smooth skin.

"You & I" He said. "What's this for?" He smiled lazily.

"Nothing can come between You & I." I said leaning on his shoulder, as we waited out the sunset.

~ 1 week later ~

The doorbell sounded, causing me to get up from the couch. With one swift movement I had the door wide open, and the man of my life stood before me.

"These are for you." He smiled handing me some red roses, his dimples coming out the play.

"Thank you." I giggled, inviting him inside.

"I have something to show you." He said rolling up his left sleeve to his elbow.

And right there on his wrist, were the words I wrote only one week ago. "You & I" etched on his skin forever.

"I got this tattoo for you. So your always with me, no matter where I am." He smiled.

"Oh Kendall! I love it!" I smiled, pulling him into a hug.

"One more thing."

"What?"

That's where everything made sense, when his one knee dropped.

"Will you marry me? You & I forever?"
