James Imagine:

Heart Attack - Demi Lovato

Your POV:

I stand in front of my open locker, just hoping for it to swallow me whole.

"(Y/N)? What's up girl?" Alexa, my best friend, says leaning against the lockers next to me.

"I just want to be eaten alive." I groaned, laying my head on top of the stack of books in my locker.

"Does this have to do with James?" She giggled.

I quickly pulled my head out my locker, scowling at her. "I don't want to hear his name, see him, or even think about him!"

"Come one you need to talk to him about this." She said trying to catch my gaze.

I looked up her, my eyes about to water any minute, "I wish I could. Do you know how hurt I feel? I told him I loved him more than just a friend, and he tells me that he doesn't feel the same way! Even though we're friends, I feel the need to impress him. That he's the only thing that crosses your mind all day! I can't stand feeling this way about him who won't ever love me back the same that I love him!" I stated, leaning my forehead against the frame of my locker.

"(Y/N)-"

"Alexa save it. Your just gonna tell me that being friends is just the equivalent. But you know I don't know how I can just push these feels aside, when I'm around him." I sighed.

"So that's how you really feel about me." A rough voice stated.

I lifted my head off my locker, turning to see the one and only friend zoner.

"I think I'm gonna go find Carlos! I'll see you guys later." She smiled scurrying away.

I sighed, my eyes staying trained to the ground. Refusing to look up and meet his beautiful hazel gaze.

"(Y/N), I didn't know you felt that way. It's just when you told me that you loved me 2 weeks ago. I was just caught off guard." He said.

I regained my confidence, and looked up.

"It hurt me. I know I shouldn't expect you to feel the same way, but I felt that somewhere deep down you felt the same way too." I sighed.

His fingers laced with mine, as he brought them between us.

"I do feel the same way. I was just scared of loosing our friendship. I never said I didn't like you. If I didn't like you then I would have never been scared of loosing our friendship." He whispered in my ear, our bodies molding into a comfortable hold of each other.

"So..." He whispered, "How about I take my beautiful girlfriend out for some ice cream?" I giggled into his chest.

"Oh boy, don't make me have a heart attack."
