James imagine

Not A Bad Thing - Justin Timberlake

Your POV:

"Tell him how you feel!" My friend says to me.

"It's not that easy. You saw what happened with Kendall! I told some stupid bitch I liked him, and that bitch told him, now look at where we are. WE DON'T TALK! HE AVOIDS ME!" I yell.

I place my head against my locker. James Maslow, one of the hottest guys in my grade. Plays basketball and baseball, I don't know what I see in him because he can be a jerk. But there is just something about him. We used to be close, back in like 6th grade; then my feelings got in the way.

"Oh! Look who just walked in!" My friend said making my head turn in his direction.

"James over here!" My friend waved!

He smiled at her, holding up his point finger to give him a second. Once he finished talking, he glided over to us.

"What's up?" James asked smiling at my friend then me.

"(Y/N) has something to tell you. I just be over there." She smiled, gave me a squeeze of the hand then left.

"I hate you." I muttered under my breath to my friend.

"So..." James said leaning on the locker next to me.

"Umm. Well, here's the thing. I-I uh I kind of like you. Well I like you a lot actually. More like since 6th grade. Oh my god that's creepy." I managed to say.

He stared back at me blankly. The tears started to blurry up my vision.

"Sorry. I didn't know it was a bad thing to fall in love with me." I said as I ran off with the tears falling to the ground.

I ended up outside, sitting under the cherry blossom tree. This tree and I have been through a lot. My head was placed between my knees, sheltering me from hurt.

"Don't act like its a bad thing to fall in love with me." A voice whispered in my ear.

I looked up and only had enough time to see it was James, before his lips collided with mine.
