So anywayyysss some of you are already aware that there's some kind of purge going on, on wattpad. So according to some random user (who i don't want to tag) webtoon bought wattpad and know they're trying to make this app more "kid friendly" and now books that focus on lemons and smut are getting deleted along people's accounts
And i noticed this a few weeks ago, you see i had 3 haikyuu smut books saved on my private library and i noticed that one of them disappeared but i didn't think much of it, one week later the 2nd haikyuu smut book disappeared and that's when it got sus, i thought to myself: "there is no way that wattpad is deleting nsfw stories"
But then the 3rd haikyuu smut book disappeared and that's when i got worried luckily i was able to remember the username of the person who originally made the story
And that was the same person who claimed that webtoon bought wattpad (and it's true do some research about it)
I'm extremely frustrated about this. I came here for the purpose of reading all kinds of fanfiction smut, fluff, lime, angst, ect
Oh wait i just remembered books that contain topics such as eating disorders, self harm and suicide are also getting deleted, it doesn't matter if the book has a trigger warning or not
Let's be real wattpad doesn't have a reputation for being "kid friendly"....and i kinda liked wattpad because of it *cough* i liked wattpad also because this app is so easy to use, I've been to ao3 before and it's kinda confusing to use ngl
If this wattpad cencorship bullshit goes on I'm leaving wattpad and I'm gonna move to ao3. I'm not gonna make any stories I'm just gonna go there cause there's more freedom on ao3 and more fanfiction to read (maybe better)
Wattpad is definitely gonna lose most of it's users because of this censorship bullshit and I'm one of them
I won't leave now nor tomorrow but soon i will and this book including my other mediocre book will remain unfinished
