Chapter 19 (Heaven's Trial)

After Tatsumi killed the devil he was moving on to 'Heaven's Trial' one of the last thing's standing in the way of him claiming Excalibur as his own.

Tatsumi
"After this i may just claim the blade of legend's and become the hero this empire need's."

Voice
"I knew i picked you to hold these blade's for a reason."

Tatsumi
"There's that voice again."

Voice
"You must continue and prove yourself as the rightful holder of Excalibur."

Tatsumi
"So this is a puzzle?"

Voice
"Indeed."

Tatsumi
"Seem's simple just Kratos' blood line can't be that hard."

Voice
"This isn't just a simple task-"

Tatsumi
"Done."

Voice
"Not just a pretty face i see."

Tatsumi
"What else do you think i do when i'm alone on a friday night?"

Tatsumi had entered the next room it held just one enemy in the center of the room.

The man jumped at him but Tatsumi dashed away.

Tatsumi
"So you're the mighty Kratos'?"

Kratos
"Indeed."

Tatsumi
"Have you been the one guiding me?"

Kratos
"No that you must find out yourself."

Tatsumi
"Than let's fight!"

Kratos
"Than give it all you got!"

The heaven blade clashed with Kratos' axe as they parryed eachother's attack's all Tatsumi thought about in this battle was retuning back to base with Excalibur in his hand's.

Tatsumi saw an opening in Kratos' attack and slashed his axe out of his hand's and put his blade to Kratos's throat.

Kratos
"I'm impressed boy you're fighting spirit out matches any blade that can be held you truly are worthy of Excalibur."

Tatsumi
"It's time for me to continue i've got a blade to claim."

As Tatsumi started for the next room before Kratos asked.

Kratos
"Why do you choose to fight?"

Tatsumi
"I don't like to fight but if it's what i have to do to protect those i hold dearest i'm all in."

Kratos
"Than continue you're quest you have but one more room to complete and Excalibur will be you'res."

Tatsumi entered the last room and saw a shadowed figure looking slightly like him.

Shadow Tatsumi
"You must die!"

He jumped at Tatsumi with a slash but it was dodged the shadow was copying every move Tatsumi made.

Tatsumi
(What does this thing not know about my fighting style)

Tatsumi's eye's shot open as he got an idea he stomped on the shadow's foot and stabed it in the heart as it died it looked him in the eye's and said.

Shadow Tatsumi
"You must kill him the emperor must die."

Tatsumi ripped his blade from the monster's chest and approached the center of the room and placed the twin blade's into the ground as he started seeing his past.

All the tragedy he had been through the death of his sister the lose of his closest friend's.

Tatsumi
"I wish i had been there to save you all my sister my friend's everyone but i will carry you're memories with me till the day i die. To my friend's i miss you dearly to my baby sister i miss you dearly. please to the blade of legend's hear my word's and obey my command release Excalibur!"

The twin blade's flew from his hand's and spun in the air as they merged into the blade of gold Excalibur.

Voice
"Take it it belong's to you. Tatsumi you're quest has only just begun take this blade and carve you're true path."

Tatsumi grabed the hilt of Excalibur and marched through the golden tunnel and made his way back to base.
