Chapter 18 (The Quest)

It's been over a month since Susanoo and Chelsea had joined night raid but Tatsumi had no time to interact he had a quest to embark on.

He had to reforge Excalibur the one weapon that could cut through any material in the world this would give them a huge advantage against the empire.

Tatsumi
"It's time i have to go."

Akame
"I'll come with you!"

Tatsumi
"No this is one quest i have to take alone i'm sorry."

Akame
"I can't let you leave. I won't let you!"

Akame had tackled Tatsumi to the ground she wasn't gonna let him leave on a journey that could cost him his life she knew that many have tried to claim Excalibur but all have failed and died for it.

Akame
"I won't let you leave me!"

Tatsumi
"Akame stop!"

Tatsumi kicked Akame out from under her feet and pinned her on the ground.

Tatsumi
"Akame i have to do this Excalibur will give us the advantage we need."

Akame
"If you fail you'll die how do you not see that!"

Tatsumi
"I swear on my sister's grave i'll come back alive please i have to do this."

Akame
"I'll hold you to it then."

Tatsumi kissed Akame before standing up and starting his quest.

The next morning.

Tatsumi was now on his way to the trial cavern there were two trial's 'Hell's Trial' and 'Heaven's Trial' both very dangerous if he wasn't careful he could be killed.

Once he arrived at the cavern he entered and made his way through the maze and saw the first trial.

'Hell's trial'

Nothing but fire and brimstone there were platform's made of stone that he had to make his way across there were busted platform's showing that he wasn't the first.

He started jumping across the platform's without pause knowing full well if he stoped he'd be turned into ashes.

He leaped onto an old rock and swung to the ending of the platforming section and made his way to the combat section only able to use hell's blade this one would be tough.

There were bodies of the last trial hunter's everywhere the demon's still chomping on the skull of one.

This didn't shake him however he leaped up and called out.

Tatsumi
"Burning slash!"

Hundred's of demon's fell from the attack but he didn't stop he kept going.

Tatsumi
"You wanna piece of me! Let's go just you and me!"

Thousand's of demon's lay dead as Tatsumi marched pass there bodies and to the third and final section of hell's trial then he could move on.

He had to kill the devil himself.

Devil
"Noone has made it this far i'm impressed boy. But now you have to survive a fight with me!"

The devil threw a fire ball at him but Tatsumi didn't even flinch and said to him.

Tatsumi
"I've taken more damage from flying body part's you're nothing."

Devil
"Why you little-GAHH!"

Tatsumi slashed the devil's hand's off.

Tatsumi
"That's just straight up sad you're no devil you're just a sad pathetic wannabe."

Tatsumi said to him before slashing the devil's throat and letting him bleed out.

Devil
"Heh i like you you'd make a fine demon-gah."

Tatsumi
"Next stop Heaven's trial."
