"That's not fair." I emphasize, giggling.
"Technically, it is." He responds a smile growing on his face.
"It's not my fault I haven't heard of Hyde Incorporated." I chortle.
"You, darling, need to see the world." He states.
"Not everyone is opportuned to." I whisper and suddenly the good mood disappears.
"Sushi delivery." Someone cries out from behind the door and comes in after a knock.
I chose sushi, yupp. I'm part Asian anyways.
"Thanks." Ashton tells her and she leaves. "Why sushi?" He asks.
"I haven't taken it since I lost my mom and also, I prefer it to anything McDonald's has to offer." I shrug as he raises the bed and helps me get comfortable then moves on to setting the food on the table attached to the bed.
"Can you feed yourself?" He asks knowing well that I cannot after my attempts at trying to hold the chopsticks with my right hand.
"I can try with my toes." I offer.
"Ha ha, funny." He says sarcastically.
"I can actually use my toes to feed myself." I inform.
"With chopsticks only, right?" He questions.
"And a fork." I add.
"Now is not the time for that, you can show me when you're better." He smiles genuinely and takes his chopsticks and sits on the bed, facing me.
"That is steaming hot." I mumble as he puts the first roll in front of my mouth.
"You don't want it?" He asks.
"Of course, I do." I retort opening my mouth with an ahh.
"Really now?" He asks, bringing the food closer to my mouth and just as it's about to go in, he takes it away.
