So, before you go.
Was there something I could've said to make your heart beat better?
If only I'd have known you had a storm to weather.
So, before you go.
Was there something I could've said to make it all stop hurting?
It kills me how your mind could you feel so worthless.
So before you go.
"I'm not drinking that, it looks bitter." I whine.
"Jordyn, open up." Ashton groans.
"I don't want it." I mutter as the door slams open.
"You broke up with Shani for this attention seeking hoe?" Brian yells and I flinch.
"Get out, Brian." Ashton commands.
"Yeah, right. She's so plain, what do you see in her. I mean look at her. She must be a good fuck, huh?" Brian sneers and Ashton clenches and unclenches his fist continuously.
"I won't repeat it, get out, Brian." Ashton snaps and instead Brian walks over to where I'm staying on the bed and pulls of the covers and drags me out of the bed and continues to drag me out.
"Brian, please don't." I beg.
"Don't call my name." He snaps and slaps me.
"Brian, what the hell is going on with you?" Adelaide yells.
"He broke up with Shani and she's beyond broken." Brian snarls and continues dragging me out of the suite.
Yes, suite. They're that rich. It's a private suite of hospital rooms.
"You can be sued for assault. Let go of her." Adelaide persuades and the next thing I know, Brian is groaning on the floor, his nose bleeding seriously and Ashton picks me up and takes me to my room.

"Jordyn." He calls softly. "Can you at least please tell me if you're okay."
"I'm... I'm fine." I shiver recalling a memory.
"I'm sorry you had to see that. I dislike violence but at that point it called for it and I know I'm trying to gain your trust but he hurt you and I couldn't think rationally then. I'm sorry if I scared you." He apologizes and I smile.
"It's fine. I've seen worse. It's more like I've been through worse though." I whisper the last part and Ashton cleans the tears that are falling away.
