Guys. ITS BEEN SO LONG! Happy Thanksgiving!!!! I am so sorry for not updating! I couldn't think of anymore one shot ideas!(Please, please, PLEASE leave some good ones in the comments!)Plus, I was very inactive in the fandom, aka I lost my interest. Luckily, I bought all 3 HTTYD movies at Walmart, binged all of RTTE, and read my favorite fanfics. Believe me, I was screaming into my pillow at 2 am.
On another note, 11K READS!!! HOLY CRAP!! I want to hug every single one of you!!!!!!!!! I'm so thankful to all of you guys, for your patience with my updates, for the votes and reads, and for the comments you leave. Believe me, I read every single one! I love you all so freaking much!!!!!!!!
Here is one more little story of Hiccstrid for ya'll.(Finally lol)
Set in Modern times
~Ellie~
"Your hair is super fluffy when you wash it." Astrid said, rolling onto her stomach. Hiccup grinned, and continued toweling off his messy hair. His fiancé turned her attention to the edition of Vogue she was reading. Astrid suddenly tossed it to the floor, and sat up, patting the place beside her.
"Come here."
"Why? What are you going to do to me?" he said, only half joking. Astrid rolled her eyes.
"I'm going to braid your hair." Hiccup shuddered.
"What! I'm not that aggressive!" Astrid protested, offended. The memory of Astrid yanking her own hair, and screaming at it when it wouldn't untangle leapt to Hiccup's mind.
"Yea...no. Aggressive and Astrid do not go together at alllll."
"Pleaseeee.." his fiancé pouted.
"Not the puppy eyes! I'm weak! Please my goddess, I am not strong enough!" he cried dramatically, falling on his knees. Astrid stuck her tongue out at him, and continued to beg.
"Please please pleaseeeee Hiccup!"
"If I let you braid my hair, will you promise one thing?" He asked, watching Astrid bounce up and down on the bed with pure giddiness.
"Yes! Anything!"
"Okay great." Hiccup grinned then sat down next to her.
"You're not gonna tell me what the favor is?"
"Nope." He said, popping the p, "I'm gonna cash it in later." Astrid, not thinking much of it, began to braid Hiccup's hair. Please Thor, give me the strength to not cry today. And please don't let my scalp bleed. Or let her rip out any hair, he prayed. Sure enough, Astrid pulled and yanked, ignoring Hiccups screams for mercy.
"There! See how cute it looks?" She exclaimed, kissing his cheek. Hiccup grimaced, then plastered a fake smile on his face.
"Yea. By the way, do we have any Aspirin?"

"Hiccup, for the last time I am not buying you a dog!" Astrid cried, exasperated. She was pretty much dragging him away from the pet store.
"I just want to go look!"
"Babe, every time you want to 'look', we always end up buying something we don't need!"
"Hey! I got you Stormfly!"
"And a fish, which our cats later killed. And then hid. Which led to a rotting fish stench. That I can still smell." Astrid said, pinching the bridge of her nose. She jumped a little at Hiccup's face.
"Stop that. You look creepy."
"You promised me a favor." Hiccup singsonged.
"What! No I didn't! I would never-" then it dawned on her, "Oh shit."
*****
"Look how cute he is!" Hiccup cried, playing with the miniature dog, which he named Terror. Astrid glared at him from the kitchen, kneading some dough for her famous (more like infamous) bread. She giggled.
"You know, I'm still going to braid your hair."
