"I don't get why we're doing this," Hwa Young muttered, picking up a decoration from the dining table. It was the usual baby shower decor, pacifiers, bibs and baby bottles filled with oddly mysterious alcohol.
Jaemin smacked her hand— snatching the small basket of goodies from her and placing it back in the center.
"Even though this baby wasn't conceived with the best love, we'll shower him with it," The blonde spoke, briefly patting her large belly before returning to his cooking in the kitchen.
"I guess your right," she mumbled, turning around to the blue couch. She sat down, relief washing over her. Her feet were able to rest after an extensive morning. "Also why are there velvet barriers around the couch like it's some V.I.P booth?"
"Because it's a significant object in your child's life? It's where you conceived the little shit."
