Mark stumbled up the stairs of a familiar front porch, his mind the only thing sober yet his movements were sluggish.
He rang the doorbell, and low and behold, a woman answered.
"Minhyung?"
"Can I speak to Hyejin?"
"Why?"
"To talk about Mari and split custody."
"Mark, I'm actually Mari's mother."
Hearing those words, his mind went blank. His posture straightened, as his eye sight as well. Clarity washed over his vision, yet he was still confused.
"Hyejin?"
"No. Hyorin. I don't think you remember, but shes my twin."

PRESENT TIME.
Mark shifted under the thin blanket of the bed, as he slowly awoke to the brights lights and white walls. He blinked his eyes rapidly, trying his best to comprehend his surroundings. The boy glanced to his sides seeing an IV on his left and a large window on his right.
"Everyone! He's a awake!" A woman's voice yelled aloud, causing a large group of people to rush into the room.
The male's visioned cleared as he could distinguish all of the people who suddenly surrounded the bed. "Where am I?" His voice came out thick and raspy, coaxed with sleep.
"Minhyung, follow the light! Be free! Don't linger any longer—" "God, Donghyuck, shut up. Stop scaring him." Jaemin scolded punching the boy's shoulder harshly, reeling out a yelp.
"You're in a hospital, Mark."
Hearing the familiar voice, he turned his head to the left. "Hyejin? Wait why?"
"Because you fainted."
Mark turned his head to the opposite side, meeting the same face. "Uh— Hyejin number two?"
"I'm Hyorin, Mari's actual mother." As those words fell from the young woman's lips gasps erupted from around the room.
"Wait what—" "I demand an explanation and mari!" "Someone pinch me." "This is some kdrama shit." "OW! Don't actually pinch me!"
