"Ready to go? Yeah?" Tony asked. We were all gathered in the lab, preparing to bring everyone back. "Let's do it," Bruce said. "Oaky remember--everyone Thanos snapped away five years ago, you're just bringing them back, to now, today. Don't change anything from the last five years," Tony repeated. "Got it," he said quietly.
Addi formed almost a bubble with lightning, moving her hands in complicated motions to shield her, Ginny, and Isa. I pulled on my mask, stepping behind Tony and Clint. "F.R.I.D.A.Y. do me a favor and activate barn door protocol, will you?" Tony instructed. "Yes, boss," F.R.I.D.A.Y. responded. Thick black sheets of metal sealed us into the lab to protect the outside world.
"Everybody comes home," Bruce said, the glove expanding to fit his hand as he pulled it on. There was a warble, pure energy coursing up his arm through his veins. Bruce was on his knees, groaning as the energy ate away at his arm and clothes. "Take it off! Take it off!" Thor shouted. "No, wait, Bruce, are you okay?" Cap asked.
"Talk to us, Banner," Tony said. "I'm okay. I'm okay," Banner let out a yell as he strained his arm, his fingers clicking together as white light flooded the room. I winced, covering my eyes with my arm until the light faded away. Bruce fell to the ground, unconscious as the gauntlet slipped off. "Bruce!" I exclaimed, my mask crumbling away as I kneeled next to him.
"Don't move him," Tony said as Clint kicked the gauntlet away. Bruce grabbed my arm, his grip tight as Tony sprayed a cooling agent onto his arm, which was dark and small, shriveled compared to his other arm. "Did it work?" He asked, his voice strained. "We're not sure. It-IT's okay, it's okay," Thor said quietly. "Honey," I looked over, seeing Clint on a call.
"Guys. Guys...it worked! We--We did it!"
