"We think we've found the boat."

"WHAT? Where?" I asked, walking at a fast clip down the hallway.

"Well... it appears that the girl, Jenny, has become attached to the island and her friends. So she pulled the boat up onto the shore. We think that when she pulled it up, she accidentally ripped off the tracker. We caught sight of it w-"

"What? NO!!! How could she have become attached to the island? Why is she not objective?" I yelled, stopping and turning to him in the middle of the dock, expecting answers. The only life I had ever really lived was an objective one, and their life was literally a huge science project, so I couldn't understand why she was biased.

"Well... She is only a child, and that has been her home since before she could remember. With all due respects, I think this situation has been overdue for a while."

"ARRRGHHH!" I yelled, nearly tearing my hair out in frustration. "How do we get her here?!"

"I suppose we just wait, but the things on the island will ramp up. Nine children was the perfect amount, but now there is ten, and the snakes will start being dangerous again, with more people, and-"

"So all we do is wait?"

"Yes, I suppose so."
