" You know, it's nice to be able to have someone to share these memories that no one else has but us." I say breaking our stare.

With the sun rays beaming, it laid a thin layer across Kurapika's face, making him look more angelic than ever. My heart skipped a beat, making me sharply inhale and quickly look away.

Why does this keep happening?

Ever since I was little my mother always told me stories and adventures she read as a child. Stories of the beautiful forest that surrounded our village or stories as small as a lady bug taking a voyage to find its home.

That ladybug caught my interest. How it kept persevering through all its hardships to find home. It kept moving forward even when chances of ever finding home again where slim. Yet I can't.

I cant persevere and I cant keep hope in finding 'home' again. It's been years and I still can't find light. But..........

I have a feeling that he.....

He's something much more than I've ever anticipated. When he looks at me with those kind eyes full of fury and passion it makes me want to persevere and latch on to that hope.

All of a sudden

Frenziedly yells of aggitation traveled through the walls. "I'm sorry about him, lets get out of here before he starts asking questions." Kurapika says in a hurry. Questions? Why is it bad if he starts asking questions?

As we exited the house and was embrased by the outdoors beauty, the stinging question of "What do you mean by questions?" kept coming affloat in my mind.

Our feet crunched on the crispy and vibrant grass, the winds playing its usual tune. Why is that comment bothering me so much?

"Kurapika, what did you mean by 'before he starts asking questions'?" I finally spewed out. He stopped in his tracks. He turns around and looks at me.

This time, his look was different. It was more concerned and serious. He sighed and parted his lips to speak, " The whole reason I wanted you to come with me even though we were strangers is because.... the phantom troupe.

As you know, they are dangerous and if they find out there's another member alive...... it could be dangerous far beyond our control. That's why I want to keep you safe. I don't want lose another part of me." He says effortlessly, not regretting a single word.

I guess that does make sense. They are dangerous beyond what we can fend off alone. Hell they could be watching our every move this very second. But what connections do they have with him to make him say that?

No one know except the both of us....

Right?

" That makes sense.... but, how do they know of your existence?" You ask, easing up able to ask any question.

He's easy to talk to.

" A little bit ago, there was an auction. At that auction the phantom troupe raided the entire place, making blood drip on almost every square inch. That's when they started to discover me and call me by the name ,"chain user."

Chain user? Is that some part of his nen? Does he even know how to use nen? Probably, if he didn't, he wouldn't know any better even if he was a pro hunter. So he would've probably die in the auction against the powerful nen users in the Phantom troupe.

A person without nen against a person with nen is like a bear against an ant.

I didn't have to ask him to know that he probably had very powerful nen that had to do with chains. A transmuter? No a Conjurer. " I'm assuming you know nen, a Conjurer?" I ask, listening into for his anticipated response.

His eyes widened as his face molded into an expression of shock. "You know what nen is?" He asks beyond suprised. Do I look that inadequate? "Haha yeah!" I reply a little annoyed he was that shocked.

Suddenly his lips curled into yet another smile, " Wow! I'm impressed."

As soon as he finished the sentence he approached me as if he wanted to learn more.

The wind blew again, this time harder making our hair swing violently. As the wind stopped, our hair was tangled and messy.

I tried to comb my hair with my fingers but the wind had a bad day I guess so my hair was beyond messed up.

Embarrassing.

"I can.. I can help you fix your hair if you wanted." Kurapika says, not sure if that comment was too far, for we just met.

Is it bad that I don't mind?

" I don't mind." I maturely say, trying to hold in my uninvited smile.

We walked back into their house, trying to avoid the man, still looking for his magazines. I swear that man is something else.

( Authors note: Heyyy everyone! I have NO idea what type of hair you have. To make it easier for me I'll probably make your hair easy enough to run through nicely with a brush. HOWEVER I would love to write senerios with different hair types if you all want. If you want that to happen you can comment next to this paragraph :))

He sits on the couch, Kurapika with a brush in hand as I sat in front of him on the floor. "Well we'll, what happened to you?? Looks like a bomb went off in your hair!" Leorio laughed. I turn around and give him a stingy look.

" oohp- ok I'm sorry." He says putting his hands up as if he was surrendering to a police walking to a room that looked like an office of some sort. " sigh don't mind him." Kurapika reminds me. Ahahha! Their relationship is nice even though Leorio is annoying.

I'd never imagine him being friends with someone Like him.

Kurapika reached for my evenly *insert your hair color* hair and strolled his fingers through it, making me shiver. I blush at the fact. He takes the brush and runs through my hair gently, with the best care.

I began to blush as he continues to "fix" my hair back into its original state. I haven't brushed my hair for awhile from my old habits so, this was nice.

His cold but soft fingers pulled my hair into a lower ponytail, tying *insert whatever you had in your hair before, whatever you'd like to imagine* around your yet to be ponytail. Before he tied the elastic *or whatever you want to use* around your hair, he gently glides his hands

Across your head, making sure there's no missing pieces. You hold in your smile as he finished tying the elastic around your hair. I turn around to see him focused, assuming about to say "done".

"Thank you!" I thank with appreciation.

He did better than I thought!

( Y'all I'm SO sorry if this chapter isn't that good, I've been lazy with writing today so I hope it's alright :) )
