Poetry, I think, for fools,
little kids and girls' schools
and idle men, with too much time
who make their way with nursery rhyme. If you read my poetry,
please be gently kind, for to you
I've allowed access to my mind.
A secret place deep within me,
where I seldom go.
For fear of finding things
I don't really want to know.
