Chapter 4

Arriving back in her little sister's suite, she noticed it was almost empty except for Stella trying on a different outfit. "Stella, have you seen Bloom?" "I think she's already at the orientation party. I'm going in a bit, would you like to join me?" "Am I allowed to? Seeing as I'm not actually going to this school?" Rose asked her. "Of course!" "Then sure, just let me shower and change real quick."

Stella decided to text Sky that his mate was going to the orientation party so he would be able to go to and keep an eye on her. Rose was done within half an hour and looked stunning. Although Stella wasn't sure if Sky, Riven or Silva would appreciate the amount of skin the girl was showing, she did look amazing. "You look stunning! How did you do that so fast?" "That's for me to know and for you to find out." Rose cryptically stated. "No just kidding, I had to share a bathroom with Bloom and my mom. If I didn't want either of them banging on the door telling me to hurry I had to be quick" she laughed.

"Well, I'm impressed. Ready to go?" Stella asked while linking her arm with Rose's. "Let's go" the latter responded.

Walking into the main hall of Alfea, they definitely made an entrance. Everyone was looking at the two beautiful girls walking into the party. And Riven, Sky and Silva didn't like it one bit. Their mate was showing quite some skin and no one knew yet that she was taken so all boys thought they would have a shot with her.

Saul quickly rushed to the blonde and the brunette and said through gritted teeth "one of you better be with her the entire evening to scare away the unmated males before I lose it." Quickly agreeing with him, they decided Sky would approach her first and if she wanted to leave him be, Riven would step in.

"You look amazing" Sky complimented her. "Thank you, Sky" she said smiling at him. "You don't look too bad yourself" she added. "Why thank you" he laughed. "Have you seen Bloom anywhere?" She asked him. "Not yet, want me to help you look for her?" "No, I don't want to ruin the party for you. I'll go look for her, you have fun" Rose protested. "It's fine, love. I'm happy to help. Let's walk around and see if we can find her." Sky said while putting his hand on the small of her back.

Just like when Saul did it, it felt as if his hand belonged there. Unconsciously leaning a bit more into his hand, she felt a small smile coming up and a small blush rising on her face. It quickly turned into a frown when she spotted her little sister going out into the woods through the big windows of Alfea. "Sky, what's in the woods?" She quickly asked him. "Nothing good, Rose. Better stay out of there." "I can't, Bloom just went there. I'll see you later" she yelled the last part over her shoulder while rushing after her sister. Not being able to stop her before she left, Sky quickly went after her while texting Saul and Riven that their mate was going into the woods.

The three quickly met up at the edge of the barrier to go find her. Walking around for a bit they suddenly heard "B, calm down. I don't want you to get hurt." "You need to leave, Rose, I can't control it." They rushed to where they thought she was and saw Bloom panicking and surrounded by fire while Rose was slowly walking towards her trying to calm her down. "Leave, Rose, I don't want to hurt you" Bloom screamed at her sister while a small flame was suddenly making his way towards her.

Luckily Aisha came to Rose's rescue before she could get hurt. That however did mean she was completely wet and her shirt was turning see through. Overcoming the shock of almost being burned and then getting a shit load of water dumped on her, she rushed to her little sister to comfort her. "It's alright, B, no one got hurt." She whispered while hugging the girl close to her. "I'm sorry, Rose. I lost control." "Calm down, sweetheart. It's alright. Why were you out here anyway? Sky said it was unsafe out here." "I just wanted to see if I could control it myself without letting anyone get hurt." She responded. "Let's go back, shall we?" Rose said while standing up and offering her hand.

At that moment, Sky, Riven and Saul decided to make their presence known. "Are you alright, love?" Sky had asked her seeing as she was drenched. "Yeah I'm fine, thanks. What are you doing here?" "I wasn't kidding when I said it was dangerous, love, so we came to find you and Bloom and apparently also Aisha and get you out of here." "Thanks, Sky. That's really thoughtful of you." She told him while smiling.

Having him worry about her made her feel things. Also the fact that Saul and Riven joined him made her feel things. "You must be freezing. Here, take my jacket." Riven offered. Appreciating the nice gesture she felt a bit bad as his jacket would be wet as well. "Are you sure? I don't want to ruin your jacket." "I'm sure, princess, here." Shit, the 'princess' slipped out.

Having him insist on her wearing his jacket to avoid her getting cold and having him call her princess was amazing. What the hell was happening to her. Accepting his offer, she walked towards him and he helped her into his jacket. "Thanks, Riven. I really appreciate it." She said while giving him a genuine smile.

Walking back towards the school, she was walking with Sky, Riven, Aisha and Bloom in front of her and Saul behind her. Feeling a bit scared because of Sky's warning, Saul noticed Rose cautiously looking at her surroundings. He immediately put his hand on the small of her back, leaned in close and whispered that she shouldn't worry and that he would protect her. His hand wasn't leaving her back anytime soon and it only made her feel more safe.

The feelings she had towards the three guys were however messing with her head a lot. Maybe she should keep her distance from them for a bit so she could clear her head.
