Mated

Chapter 11

After breakfast it was time for the boys' specialist training. Rosalie decided to go with them to enjoy the weather (and maybe the view as well).

Arriving at the training grounds she saw her third mate already there. Saying goodbye to the two boys she came with by kissing their cheeks, she walked up to Saul to say hello. "Hi love, you're looking gorgeous today" He complimented her. Blushing a bit she muttered a small thanks. Telling her she could take a seat near the training mat above the pond to watch Sky and Riven he sneakily kissed her temple after guiding her there as a temporary goodbye. He had a class to teach after all.

Riven and Sky were already warming up when Rose came to watch them. That's why they didn't notice Dane taking a seat next to their mate immediately after Saul left. Suddenly hearing their mate laugh out loud, they spotted the first year flirting with their mate. Saul noticed as well and was ready to expel the poor kid. Only, he couldn't. He hadn't gone public with her yet and he didn't want to put too much pressure on her when they only got together this morning. He however did step up to the boys' training mat so he could eavesdrop a little. If it got too much out of hand he would be able to step in.

And then he heard it "so, beautiful. Want to go out with me sometime?" He was not the only one that heard that. Riven was fuming and Sky wasn't doing any better. Seeing that all three of her mates had heard the first year, Rose quickly said "I'm sorry, I'm taken". Hearing her say that made a feeling of pride swell up in their chests. Until Dane's next sentence.

"I don't see anyone here, babe. I'm sure your boyfriend won't mind to share" "they will if it's with you" Riven angrily grumbled while dropping his training swords and storming towards his girl and Dane. "Better back off, mate, before I punch you in the face" Riven said to Dane while wrapping his arm around Rose. Dane wasn't backing down for some reason and told Riven "I'd like to see you try, man" while squaring up. Releasing his hold on Rose, Riven squared up as well and threw the first punch.

Meanwhile Rose was freaking out. A lot. Trying to stop the fight she called out for Riven to stop but it didn't change a thing. Calling out for Sky to get Riven off Dane wasn't working either cause Sky felt like he deserved the beating he got. Saul wasn't much of a help seeing as he walked off right before the fight so it wouldn't be expected of him to stop it.

So she said the last thing they expected her to say. "If you don't stop this right now, we're done." Unfortunately for Sky, Saul and Riven, Riven was in mid-punch and Riven decided to finish it, not expecting Rose to be that serious. But she was. Ever since everything happened with Bloom, she had her doubts about staying in this world. She thought the guys could take those doubts away but seeing what they were capable of, it didn't work. That's why she pulled through with her threat "We're done" she stated before walking away.

Sky was quick to rush after her. Grabbing ahold of her arm to stop her from walking away he said "Babe, calm down. Riv stopped, let's go back to training" "No. He shouldn't have started the fight and you and Saul should have stepped in to stop it." "Riv was defending you" "I never asked for that, did I? I don't need someone to fight my battles that don't need any fighting. I could have told him to fuck off and that would've been enough. You took it way too far. That's not for me. This world is not for me." "What are you saying?" "I'm saying that I'm not moving into an apartment with you." "It's fine if you don't want that yet. Will you be staying with Stella then?" "No, you don't get it. I'm going back to my world." "You can't" he desperately said. "That's not your decision." Rose said before shrugging her arm out of his hold, leaving him behind.

Arriving at the empty Winx suite she immediately started packing her stuff. After having everything packed she decided to go to headmistress Dowling to be able to leave Alfea grounds. Hearing the "come in" after knocking on the door, Rose entered the office. She however didn't expect Saul to be in the office as well.

"Ms. Peters, what can I do for you?" "I want to go back to the First World" she told the headmistress. "For a visit?" Farah asked her. "For college" she replied not sparing a glance at the heartbroken look Saul was carrying.

"Unfortunately it is to dangerous for you to go to the portal alone. Perhaps mr. Silva and two of his best specialists can escort you to the gateway." Rose agreed, not entirely realizing that Farah meant Sky and Riven as additional escorts. She thought she could just avoid walking next to Saul while going to the gateway by walking with the two specialists but fate wasn't on her side when the boys she was so desperately trying to avoid entered the room. "What are they doing here?" She asked Farah. "They are the best specialists here, ms. Peters." "You've got to be fucking shitting me" Rose grumbled quietly before saying "Fine. Can we go?"
