Recap:
Chapter 7
(Chapter 7 is where Luke and Isa are in the car on their way to the hospital. Some "trippy," things happen where Luke watch and Isa's necklace glow with sticking to eachother. Isa receives a message in the form of a song, which she believes is from her mother. Also, with the help of Luke she is able to let go and heal.
"Come on. Lets get you out of this rain. We wouldn't want you having to go to the hospital too," he said while grabbing my hand and starting to run toward the entrance to the hospital. As soon as we passed through the sliding doors, I stopped, causing Luke to stop even though he never let go of my hand.
"Thank you, Luke. For everything you've done and said to me." I told him. In his response he just smiled back at me. That's when I decided to temporarily forget about the weird glowing necklace and watch thing, because I wanted to enjoy this moment. Because for the first time in a while, I was happy while rain was falling.
Chapter 8
Slowly, Luke walked back over to me. He stopped suddenly and took off his jacket.
"Lets go," was all he said as he draped the jacket around my shoulders.
"Oh No, Luke. I don't need this," I said, as I took off his warm jacket. He stopped me.
"Tell that to the goose bumps on your arms," he laughed. I smiled at him respectively and made my way over to the doorway. I paused for a brief moment before taking that step in to the room.
"Hi Dad," I said timidly, the room seemed to get smaller and my chest began to hurt.
" 'Sup Mr. F," Luke said, noticing my face. I gave him a nod to let him know that I was all right.
"Isa? Luke? Why are you guys all wet?" he asked us.
"It's a long story," we said simultaneously.
"Hey Joe, they didn't have any pudding so I got you this fruit cup," Luke's Mom walked in the room.
"Mom?" Luke asked.
"Oh hi dear. Nice clothes, Isa," she winked, "although they're a little wetter from the last time I remember them."
"It's just raining outside, and Luke and I got caught in the rain," I explained.
"Mr. Joesph Smith….or Formatis?" The doctor walked in, interrupting our conversation.
"Smith is my original name. Formatis is the name of my wife,"
"Formatis is mom's name?" I asked. My dad nodded, "Yes," at my question.
"Is your wife here?" the doctor's eyes were still glued to his clipboard.
