The end of Christmas break couldn't have come sooner. George waved goodbye to his parents and then let out a huge grin as he walked back into his school. The stone walls were welcoming. George knew exactly where he was headed.

"George, hey!" Dream said, opening the door to a feeling of elation.

"Hey, I wanted to say sorry?" George awkwardly smiles. "I don't know exactly what for but we kind of left off weirdly."

"It's fine! I'm sorry too. I've been so bored here." Dream rolled his eyes slightly.

"Well, would you like to hang out again sometime? There's this park I drove by nearby." George pointed a thumb over his right shoulder.

"Sure, how does tomorrow sound, since lessons start the day after?"

"Great! One o' clock." George nodded, leaving Dream at the door to greet Sapnap.

"I've been so bored, dude!" He could hear Dream expressing to his friend.

Dream was so happy to be back in the company of Sapnap. Then started the stories of his Christmas break. Apparently, Sapnap had done many activities over Christmas.

The day rolled over, and Dream was so happy to have company again. The past two weeks felt like a solitary confinement, all on his own but that night was the best sleep he had in weeks.

Until he was awoken by rapid knocking. He got up, Sapnap was rubbing his eyes, completely confused by this awakening.

"George?" Dream rubbed his eyes, looking at the clock behind him to see it was exactly 13:00. "Punctual." He commented with a tired tug of the lips.

"Always." George replied. "But you seem to be lacking today." He said, smiling and playfully pointing as he looked at Dream's messy hair.

"Give me one minute." Dream shut the door, leaving George to awkwardly stand outside the door.

The door opened again to reveal Dream. Hair presumably brushed under a beanie and proper clothes on. George checked his watch.

"One minute. Punctual."

"Always." Dream concurred, shutting the door behind himself and setting off with George.

They walked down the same hall as previously, down the same street. This time, however, George lead Dream down a small footpath. The freshly falling snow clinging onto their clothes.

"I've always loved the snow." George mutters, looking back at their footprints.

"It's quite pretty." Dream agreed. The footpath extruded out to a park. It surprised the both of them that there were no children, the snow would be exciting for them.

They walked around and then decided to go inside. They sat on the swings, George with his hands folded in his lap and Dream with one hand lightly holding the chain on his left.

"I remember when I was a kid, I used to give my sister piggy-backs when we went on walks. She always asked for them. Never stopped, even when she got too big for me to carry. I still would carry her." Dream smiled, shaking his head, looking at the sky.

George looked over at him. The light reflected in his eyes with such curiosity. His nose was slightly red from the cold which made his freckles stand out. He looked back at the snow falling from the ground.

"What about you?" Dream looked at George now. His hair stood out against the pearlescent snow. His skin was also slightly pink from the cold, the tint was cute, making Dream smile to himself. He found himself smiling a lot more around George.

"I used to have a dog. Sam. He was always so playful, never seemed tired. One night, I was upset. It was over something so stupid but he came and comforted me. It's a dumb memory really, any dog can hug their owner, it just meant a lot to me at the time."

"I think that's so sweet." Dream commented, now looking at the snow.

"I'd like to be a child again." George said, standing up. He pulled himself backwards onto the ground, looking up as he waved his arms and legs.

"Snow angels?" Dream laughed, standing up and falling beside George.

"I always loved making them." George happily stated, remembering his past. "Thank you, Dream."

"For what?" Dream turned his head to face George, who was already looking at him.

"Being my friend." The word 'friend' tasted strange in his mouth, but it didn't smother the meaning behind what he was saying.

"Thank you too." Dream said.

Eventually, they left the park, back down the footpath and to the school. The Sun was setting in front of them now, making the snow glimmer in a beautiful orange light.

George felt happy as he headed down the hall to his room. He still had unpacking to do, which he wasn't looking forward to. He arranged everything as it had been before and fell down onto his bed, ready for a good nights sleep.

George woke next morning at the usual time, getting his things together before heading to his first lesson. On his way, he saw Dream headed in another direction. They waved. As much as he wished he could be at another school, this one had its pros.
