Simon
After seeing the pure bliss on her face, I knew I had made a good choice about this hike. She is talented with that camera, I can't wait for her to do some editing and have a look at the finished product. By the time we had finished eating, we laid back on the blanket I bought and just sat and talked for another 2 hours before we decided to head back to the car. I could tell she was tired when we started the long journey home and she fought to stay awake for as long as she could, but she fell asleep the last 30 minutes of the journey. I smile to myself thinking about how I wanted her to always have good days like today and if she was ever tired it was because of what we would get up to and no longer traumatic experiences.
I soon pulled into my drive and got out, grabbing the bags and placing them on the steps before making my way back to her side. I unbuckled her and shifted her out slightly picking her up bridal style in my arms. I got to my door and scanned my fingerprint, a hidden key fob for when I have my hands full. My door clicked open after the camera above me confirmed my identity. If you haven't been able to tell yet, I'm a little crazy with some electronics in my home. Only little things though. I feel her move in my arms just as I get to the hallway leading to my room, hoping that it will be our room soon.
"Hey I can walk." The sleep dripping off her voice was so adorable. I chuckled and placed her on the bed taking off her shoes and getting her ready for bed.
"I know you can babe, but let me take care of you." She smiled as she sat up in bed and helped me to take off her trousers and her top. She slipped out of her bra and the way her boobs bounced in my face when she did so, it took all of my restraint to not take one in my mouth just then. I could feel my pants getting tight and I adjust Si junior in my pants willing him to behave. Sky lies back down again and I kiss her and exit quickly before I ravage her then and there. I need to make sure she is ready again before we go down that road once more.
It's only 6 in the evening and I decide on stir fry for dinner. It only takes half hour so when I was finished, I take a seat in the living room and eat whilst catching up on the basketball game.
I've just finished eating when my phone rings, I look at the caller ID and smile.
"Hey Sis, how are you?"
"Hey Chubs! I'm good I miss you." I roll my eyes at my sister's nickname for when she's teasing me.
"How's Uni?" She sighs heavily and I sit up placing my bowl on the coffee table.
"It's stressful, I can't believe I have another year to go! I feel like I'm riding a bike that's on fire but I can't stop." I chuckle at her expression and lean back into the sofa.
"I know sis but if anyone can do it, you can. Besides as soon as you finish you get to come work with me and Elliot." She squeals out and I have to move the phone away from my ear at her high pitched voice.
"I know I can't wait. Anyway enough about me. A little birdie says you've got a girlfriend?"
"Elliot couldn't keep his big mouth shut huh?"
"Come on, you know he loves gossip just as much as another woman does. So tell me about her."
"Talia, how about you come home this week and meet her. It's your reading week right?"
"Yep, I can drive down tonight and before you say anything, NO it's not too late, I've been napping all day, so I'll be fine. As soon as I get down to mom's I'll message you." I could just picture her rolling her eyes in the background. I couldn't help it though, I felt like I had to be the protective big brother especially since her dad died when she was only 3. She can't remember him much but we all try and be there for her as much as possible.
"OK then. Well I'll be at mom's tomorrow for Sunday roast, so see you then."
"See ya! Love you Si."
"Love you too." I put the phone down sighing. When I look up again I see Sky standing in the doorway with a curious expression. "Hey, you're up."
"So it would seem." Her answer was clipped with me. OK where was this coming from. I stood up and walked towards her when she stepped back. "Don't."
"Babe, what's wrong?" I ask fully confused, thinking about how this day has just taken a full 180.
"Who was that on the phone? Who was you saying 'love you' to?" I dropped my hands to my side with relief and started laughing. She looked at me like I'd grown two heads and had a spike tail growing out of my ass. I picked up my phone from the coffee table, unlocked it and handed it to her. She looked at the phone like I was passing her a ticking time bomb. I held it for a second before she reached out taking it from my hands carefully.
"Check last calls." I say softly before I approach her and stand right in front her waiting for her to look me in the eyes after she has found her answer. She taps a few times before she hands the phone back to me but avoiding my gaze. I slowly lift her head with my index finger forcing her head up but when I do her eyes are shut and tears leak out of them onto her cheeks. I lean forward and kiss each of her eyes willing her to open them up to me. "Don't deny me those beautiful orbs, Sky."
Her eyes flit open and they wander around still avoiding my gaze. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions." I sigh and rub her arms.
"No, you shouldn't have, but I understand with your history why you did." I graze my thumb across her cheek wiping away her tears and she finally looks into my eyes. "There you are." I smile and kiss her lips that I am so addicted too. "You don't ever have to worry about me straying or cheating on you, because you are my heart Skylar Jones and I couldn't very well hurt my heart can I?"
She rests her forehead on my chest and hugs me tightly sobbing into it. I wrap her securely in my arms and lift her with me settling us in the couch. After a while she settles and I remember she hasn't eaten.
"Can I smell stir fry?" She croaks out and I chuckle as if she has read my mind.
"Yeah it is."
"Is there anything you can't cook?"
"No, Google can help me with new dishes." I joke and I'm rewarded with her laughter. She pushes up from my chest and looks down in our laps once more, before locking eyes once more.
"Si, we need to talk." My heart dropped to my balls, toes and back up to my head all at once. The 4 dreaded words every man hated to hear.
WE. NEED. TO. TALK.
