Skylar
It had been 3 weeks since I started on self defence classes and Chris said I have been getting on great. As well as having his one to one classes, I have been coming to his group classes as well. Here I met 3 other ladies who I got along with quite well; Lisa, Charlotte and Lora. All of us had similar stories surrounding the reason why we were all having self defence classes. In one way or the other we had either been a victim of abuse or witnessed it and didn't want that to be a victim anymore. Everyday we saw each other become more powerful in taking back the reins on our life, better yet we saw it in ourselves.
Simon is away for the weekend with his family at a holiday home to discuss their approach with Bolton and I decided they needed this time together as a family. I had invited Jade over for the night and thought we could have a girls' night in. Simon had brought me a new phone that I was trying to get used too as we sat in Simon's living room.
"Don't go breaking this new phone that lover boy has gotten for you. I think I'll snap your neck if you do." She playfully glared at me and I laughed.
"No, I won't. Plus that anger and frustration at Domien is going to better use."
"So can I hire you as my personal bodyguard then?"
"I'll have to charge you, but why don't you just join me at the classes."
"Do I get best friend rates if you charge?" We both laughed and she poured us both hefty amounts of wine in our glasses.
"Anyway how's the love life? I feel like we haven't been able to catch up. I feel selfish being caught up in my own world, I'm sorry." She swoons as she takes another sip.
"Yes, you have been selfish but I forgive you. Especially seeing that you've been getting fucked on bathroom counters and walls and shit." I had indulged on sex with Simon that one faithful evening when I had gone to work and was sore from where he had me pinned against the wall and of course Jade noticed when I sat back in my chair and yelped a bit from the pain. "Wait! Have you guys done it here?" She pointed to the sofa she was casually relaxing in and I winked at her.
She jumps up out of the couch and yelled. "Seriously Sky people have to sit on these!" I laughed out loud almost choking on my wine as she looked around her. "Where is it safe to sit here?" I laughed again before I answered her.
"Nimbus's bed maybe."
"Great! You've gone from a prude to a sex monster." She laughed at me and downed her drink. "Anyway to answer your question, Elliot is surprising." I raised an eyebrow but didn't interrupt, I almost held my breath in fear of hearing that he disappointed her. "He came across as this play boy when I first met him, but the more and more we got to know each other, he's actually a sweetheart." My jaw dropped as it wasn't what I was expecting to hear.
"OK, wow! Not what I was expecting."
"Believe me hun, neither did I. I knew we had amazing sexual chemistry but once we got to talking and hanging out, he's really romantic. We went on a picnic last week. He just told me how to dressed, picked me up and we drove to this big field I didn't even know existed and had a great time. Well until rain came pouring down on us, but the sex in the back of his car made up for it big time."
"And I thought Simon was the romantic one."
"Well they are brothers, must be in the genes somewhere." We laughed and talked the night away and were both passed out at 3 am that morning. We were awake by 11 am and decided to get brunch at a nearby restaurant. After eating our weight in greasy food, Jade and I parted ways and I decided to head over to mine's to get some more clothes to stay at Si's for next week. I haven't slept in my own bed for 3 weeks and I was slowly emptying my flat.
