She also mentioned that she was glad that Florida was finally being settled down

Hawaii complains that he's too thin and sends Alaska food to give to George

George does discover that she makes a mean spam taco though

When Hawaii learns that George is a reporter, she begs him to bring awareness to the growing movement to reclaim her country from America

George promises to try his best

Hawaii has been planning George and Florida's wedding since they started dating. It's a whole ordeal now.

A/N: Man I'm making the DC in this AU a major dick. Also am I alone in thinking they must've had multiple DC's along the way? (Friendly reminder George is canon DC but in this AU he's human)

"Then DC threw another fit over California's reopening plan, and the meeting went downhill from there." Alaska recounted, talking into his laptop in the garage of the Statehouse.

"I'm telling you, why are you even still there?" Hawaii asked.

"I mean....it's better than renting." Alaska mumbled with a shrug. "Plus Florida is kind of growing on me."

"The state or Florida because I'm going to be concerned if it's Florida." Hawaii pointed out.

"The state, don't worry, I'd rather Florida leave me alone." Alaska explained smiling gently. He looked up as the garage door opened and George stepped inside.

"Sorry, Robert and Juan are doing stuff at the front door." George announced taking off his sunglasses.

"Do I even want to know?" Alaska asked.

"Probably not." George said with a chuckle adjusting his bag as he walked through the garage. "You cookin' tonight?"

"It's going to be soup!" Alaska announced as George opened the backdoor.

"Don't care, you make good soup Alex!" George said with a snicker before closing the door.

"Alex? You haven't allowed anyone to call you 'Alex' since '59." Hawaii pointed out. "What gives, who was that?"

"Oh that's just Florida's boyfriend, George." Alaska explained. "He doesn't know we're states, so anyway then Louisiana...."

"WHAT?" Hawaii yelled interrupting her boyfriend. "Florida has a boyfriend???"

"Juan....love the firework cannon was a bad choice." George soothed a little while later. He stood at the sink tending to Florida's wounds after another failed mischievous outing with Louisiana.

"I'm telling ya, we get the prototype down, and then we're going on Shark Tank!" Florida announced hissing as George touched his wound with a face cloth.

"I think you need to go back to the drawing board." George said gently as the backdoor burst open.

"Ha-Lilli this isn't that big of a deal!" Alaska pointed out walking into the kitchen.

"Oh yes it is! Florida hasn't had a boyfriend in thirty years!" Hawaii yelled over the laptop. George looked at Florida confused.

"She's kidding." Florida said nervously as Alaska put the laptop on the table.

"Lilli, this is George Thomas, Florida's boyfriend. George, Lilli." Alaska announced.

"Wait....are you Alaska's girlfriend?" George asked.

"SO IT'S TRUE! Juan finally got a boyfriend!" Hawaii gasped.

"I'm so happy to meet you! Why don't you live here with Alex?" George asked.

"Oh, I don't mess with the lower forty-eight, it gives me bad vibes." Hawaii explained.

"Lower....forty eight?" Alaska shot his girlfriend a look making her quickly smile nervously.

"I'm just kidding brah, it's just a joke! I just can't handle the weather up there." Hawaii quickly lied.

"Yeah that makes sense, Orlando is wild." George laughed.

"Hey, spin around for me real quick?" Hawaii asked. George looked at Florida, who shrugged, and followed Hawaii's order, spinning around in front of the laptop.

"JUAN, are you feeding this man? Look how skinny he is!" Hawaii yelled.

"No, no it's okay! I'm just like this naturally." George explained nervously, yelping as Florida pushed him away.

"Man eats like a HORSE Lilli! I once saw him down a whole pizza, and didn't gain a pound." Florida explained.

"Okay I wouldn't say I eat like a horse." George argued, gently pushing his boyfriend back.

"Nah he's too skinny. Alex what's your address there, I need to send this man some food." Hawaii ordered.

"Alright, I think that's enough." Alaska announced picking up his laptop again. "I'm going back into the garage."

"It was nice meeting you Lilli!" George called as Alaska started back to the garage.

"Yeah, maybe we can 'aloha' a trip down there soon!" Florida called after them, saluating but accidentally hitting himself in his wound.

"Oh Juan." George sighed before going back to tend to his injured boyfriend.

"George seems very nice." Hawaii announced brightly as the two returned to the garage.

"He's a good running buddy, when he can catch up." Alaska smirked sitting back down on his bed.

"Florida's playing a dangerous game though, he should tell him." Hawaii pointed out. Alaska sighed.

"I know he wants to, but can't find the best way to do it. Plus DC's dumb rule." Alaska said rolling his eyes.

"I'm surprised the hot head will let us states' inner-date." Hawaii muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Well...." Alaska drawled off making Hawaii roll her eyes again.

"Anyway George seems to be a good fit for Florida, he makes him happy and that's all that matters." Hawaii explained.

"Kind of like how you are with me." Alaska said gently, making Hawaii blush.

"I need your address though, that boy is far too thin, he needs some meat on his bones...."
