I had my bags packed, "mom! I'm ready!" I screamed "Great, set your bags in the car" she told me. I went to go put all my bags in the trunk, I went back inside to see if I had forgotten anything, I just stared at my walls, I can't believe I'm leaving where I grew up from... Well, time to start a new future in Compton. "Ready honey?" I heard my mom ask "yeah" I told her. We got in the car and I fell asleep .
* 3 hours later *
"Wake up" my mom shook me. "We're here?" I said looking around "yup, this is Compton" she said. I just frowned "whats wrong" my mom asked "nothing I just don't like it here, it looks so lonely" I said. "Don't worry, it'll be better soon I promise" she told me... We got to the new house and I grabbed everything and moved it in my room. My mom called the rental truck to bring all of our furniture inside and she set up in less than an hour 😧. I laid down and used my phone for 20 minutes. "I'm gonna go outside and show myself around" I told my mom. "Okay, stay safe!!" She approved. I grabbed my skateboard and looked for the nearest skatepark. I found one not too far from me, I looked and there were many guys there.. I sat on a bench instead because I didn't wanna be the only girl skating, plus I'd be skating alone 😳. I began to skate on the road while I stumbled upon a rock.. 😑 "woah!!" Some boy said catching me "oops" I said "well at least say thanks!" The boy said "no, I'm fine, you didn't have to catch me ya know!" I told him. "Attitude" he said, I rolled my eyes and began to walk the other direction "I'm steven!" He ran in front of me "I'm Jay" I said "cool name" he told me "I mean sure.." I said awkwardly. He asked simply "yeah I guess" I grabbed his phone and put my name under: Jay 😋 "thanks bae" he said while I just left. I got home, "you're back?" My mom asked "yessss mom I am" I told her "so, what'd you find?" She said "I met a guy, he's really cool his name is Steven" I told my mom " cool! Already meeting new friends I see" she told me. I looked at the time and it was currently already 10:38pm, I took a shower and put my pjs on, then I got a text from a number
