Chapter 16: Progress

"Wherever you came from, it doesn't really matter, as long as you always stand by me."

(Taehyung POV)

     "I knew it."

     Yoongi hyung doesn't seem too surprised to know that i have a girlfriend. Thankfully, everyone accepted the fact that i'm in a relationship with Y/N. I let out a sigh of relief. I put my hand on my chest out of nervousness and my heart was pounding loudly.

     "Did you think that i'll scold you for something like this?"

     "Kinda..hehe"

     "As long as you're happy."

     Yoongi hyung gave me a gummy smile and it caught me off guard. I originally thought that he was a really grumpy person but it turns out that he is charming and sweet. He went back to working on some type of beat on his mini keyboard and i really got intrigued. I wanted to watch him work his magic on the instruments he had but i got really tired and went to bed instead.

(Y/N POV)

     "Finally finished my homework for the day."

     I switched off my night lamp and quickly jumped to my bed. I shouldn't be doing my homework late into the night. Anyways, i'm just happy that Tae is in Seoul with me. I can't help but smile whenever i think about him. Luckily, it is the weekends tomorrow. I could visit Tae and cook him some food. I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

(Timeskip: 9:00 am)

     "Wake up Y/N!"

     "You don't wanna miss breakfast!"

     "Coming!"

     I tidied up my bed and dashed to our dining table. My mom cooked my favourite food. Sunshine flooded my soul as i wait for my mom to sit down with us at the dining table. I waited for my parents to take a bite before i did. I immediately ate breakfast and savoured my food.

     "You seem really happy today."

     "You met Taehyung already?"

     "How did you guys read me like an open book?"

     "You're my daughter after all."

     I nod in acknowledgement and continued eating. They were both smiling as well and we had a great morning.

(Taehyung POV)

     "Good morning Tae!"

     "Good...morning...Jimin."

     "Come on! It's the weekends!"

     He dragged my body to our living room and joy quickly engulfed me as i smell good food coming from the kitchen. Without hesitation, i rushed to the kitchen with Jimin and saw Jin hyung cooking our breakfast. The both of us was in awe as we stared at the food. We were almost drooling when Jin hyung told us to go to the dining table first. He told Jimin to wake up the rest and i waited patiently.
