Chapter 7: Optimistic

"I love you, more than yesterday, but less than tomorrow."

(Time: 8:30 am)

     I woke up and sat down on my bed to process what had just happened. I thought that i was going to sleep yesterday but my eyes were saying otherwise. They were wide open and it made me unable to sleep for a few hours. At least i got to sleep. Oh well. I think i have eyebags now. Hehe. I did my morning routine and proceeded to my kitchen.

     "Good morning Y/N!"

     "Good morning mom!"

     "What time is your friend coming?"

     "I'm not sure, let me text him."

     I took out my phone and sat down on my couch with my dad. He was watching a animal documentary. I'm not sure if all dads are like this but i won't judge.

     This guy has been teasing me a lot nowadays. I didn't mind though. Maybe something good happened to him? Who knows? Anyways, i went and told my mom and dad that he's on the way here. My mom had already prepared food for all of us so my dad switched off the TV and sat down on the dining table.

(Taehyung POV)

     "See you later grandma!"

     "Byee!"

     Her smile never fails to make me smile as well. I wore my shoes and took my bicycle to Y/N's house. I was humming some songs as i was cycling to not make myself bored. I took a short pit stop at the convenience store to buy a Kimbap. I bought Cola as well. I quickly ate the kimbap and put my cola in my bag.

(Time: 9:15 am)

     I was near Y/N's house. My nervousness was building up as i never went to my friend's house after that last incident. I quickly got rid of that thought and braked. I looked at the house and it made my jaw dropped. Y/N's house is rustic and cool! I parked my bicycle outside the house and saw a cat outside the house. I started to play around with the cat and it seems to like me a lot!

(Y/N POV)

     "I've been hearing sounds outside the house. Could it be?"

     I went to the door and opened it. I saw Taehyung and he jolted out of surprise. It seems that Yejin had been playing with him. He was laughing as he started rubbing Yejin's belly. She loves it when people rub her belly. I don't know why myself.
