Chapter 17: Bonds

"You know you really love someone when you don't hate them for breaking your heart."

(Taehyung POV)

     It's really reassuring to have Y/N by my side. Now that she's here to watch us dance together as a group, i can't help but get shy at the thought of it. Despite all that, i kept a poker face and followed Hoseok hyung's footsteps. Seeing Y/N's surprised face made me chuckle a little.

     "Uwahh, good job guys!"

     "Thanks..."

     Everyone was panting heavily and attempting to catch their breath. Y/N was still clapping and gave us water bottles.

(Y/N POV)

     I think i got to know each member well after interacting with them over lunch. I noticed how hardworking each of them were. It makes me smile knowing that each of them have their own to dreams to achieve. To be very honest, i thought that Tae was going to be in a band instead of a hip-hop group. It seems that i was wrong and that Tae somehow managed to enter the group by playing the saxophone.

     "Thanks a lot Y/N!"

     "Ditto."

     "No problem, you guys should rest."

     It was already evening. All of them were exhausted and they were preparing to go back. However, two of them wanted to stay to practice even more. The rest wanted to go back, including Tae. He wanted to go back with me so badly and i chuckled as he was so cute while saying that.

(Taehyung POV)

     "I'll send her back home guys."

     "Okay!"

     We waved at each other and walked off in different directions. I held Y/N's hands and her hands were soft and cold. It was not long till we shared each other's warmth. I noticed that Y/N's ears were red and i laughed softly to myself.

     "You seemed really happy today."

     "Of course, you were there with me."

     "I can't wait to see you debut."

     We held each other's hands tighter as we got closer to her house. We stopped at the main entrance and we looked at each other in the eyes.

     "Today was fun; i wish i could do it again."

     "It sure was."

     "I guess i'll see you-"

     Y/N suddenly pulled me in and gave me a peck on the cheek. She immediately let go of my hands and rushed into her house. For the first time in my life, i blushed really hard in front of Y/N. I was caught off guard this time. I bet she's blushing too. I took the bus back to our dorms with a smile. I can't help but feel that way.

(Y/N POV)

     I did it! I finally did it! I rushed to my bed and rolled around out of embarassment. Since when was i so bold? I covered my face and i suddenly heard a knock at my door.
