I wake up rather early, and glance at my alarm clock, it reads 5:42, still eighteen minutes until my proposed waking time. I always found myself as an early riser. I rub my eyes with the back of my hand, and turn on my bedside lamp. It's pitch black outside as I take a peek outside. I can still make out a few figures, moving things and setting stuff up.

I slip out of bed, and walk over to the bathroom. Inside, I take a rather long shower, and walk out of the bathroom just as the alarm goes off. I dry myself, change into a pair of Breechers and a long sleeved blouser, and a jacket. I pull on my boots, and go into the bathroom to do my hair. It's six thirty, and Jess has hardly stirred, so I wake her up, and make my bed.

"I'm an early riser," I say, as we do finishing touches to our hair in the bathroom.

"Well, as you can see, I'm not," Jess grinned, and we both cracked up.

I enter the Barn at about eight, and meet Mr. Harrison.

"Good morning," he says cheerfully.

"Hello," I reply back.

"Ready to choose your horse?" Mr Harrison asks. I nod.

"Can you get Prince K out of his pen, and bring him to the inside Arena, his tack is in the cupboard over there, marked 34," mr Harrison points to a large tackle cupboard.

"Ok," I nod and walk over to the cupboard. I get out his red halter and lead line, and then get his saddle. I opened the pen gate, walk in, and shut it behind me. I hold out a piece of sliced carrots and he gobbles it down greedily. I put the Halter on with no trouble.

Mr Harrison checks his clipboard. Next,I sling the mat over him, and then she saddle. He stirs a little, but doesn't start a fuss. I fumble with the buckles a bit, but it's all ok. The clip the reins on. And take him to the arena.
