Chapter 4 ; Past

Shuhua was surrounded by different kinds of students while Soojin was beside her.

"I thought you have a class today?" Shuhua answered as they walk side by side passing each rooms.

"I actually don't have a class today, We'll be inside the forest so I can practice peacefully without any distractions." Shuhua could only nod.

But Soojin has a lot of thoughts running inside her mind right now.

'Her deep voice.'

'It's somewhat kind of familiar.'

Soojin shrugged her thoughts off as they arrived at the middle of the Forest.

The university is huge, it has a small forest in it.

"You can just sit by there." Soojin pointed on the log but Shuhua was nowhere to be seen. "I'll watch you from up here." Soojin followed the voice and there she saw Shuhua sitting by the branch of the tree.

"Okay?"

She focused on her surroundings, lifting both of her arms mid air.

With closed eyes she inhaled deeply.

Sweats started to form on her forehead.

Shuhua watched Soojin.

Little by little a black hole started to form, Soojin has been practicing on how to perfect the black hole in just a short period of time.

When she was in her first year, it took her almost half an hour to form a black hole.

When the black hole was already done, Soojin look up the tree but once again Shuhua was nowhere to be found again.

"Where is she?" she turned around and there she saw Shuhua in front of the black hole.

Soojin widened her eyes when Shuhua touched the black hole. "SHUHUA." she yelled but it was too late the younger was already out of her sight completely.

She run towards the black hole to bring Shuhua back.

She knows it was risky though she can control the space and time, she couldn't control on what would happen to them there and she haven't mastered it fully.

Shuhua was like flying in the sky, within a few seconds she felt a stinging pain on her butt.

Looking around she was sure she haven't been here or so she thought.

It was a hundred years ago in Taipei, Taiwan.

She started to walk around everything was so foreign for her even though it was her homeland.

"SHUHUA." turning around she saw Soojin running towards her. "Are you okay?" Soojin asks checking on Shuhua even though Shuhua should be assisting Soojin today.

Soojin is still responsible for her as she was older between them.

Shuhua smiled.

"Come on." Shuhua pulled Soojin by the hand as they walk through the market.

People were minding their own business which was a relief as Soojin doesn't want to talk to anyone here.

"What is my grandmother doing here?" Soojin asks as she squinted her eyebrows.

Shuhua followed her gaze, there she saw her grandmother talking to Soojin's grandmother.

"Mom?" Shuhua whispered when she saw her mom walking towards the two ladies.

They were behind the bushes.
