Chapter 28 ; andata

"Good night." Miyeon and Minnie both entered their room as Soyeon and Soojin both went upstairs since the third year students are staying at the second floor but halfway to their rooms.

They spotted Yuqi who was panting while holding a piece of paper in her hand.

"Where have you been? You didn't finish your food." Soyeon asks the younger ever since the others knew about their relationship the two couldn't hide their affection towards each other.

"I was just from Shuhua's room." by the mention of the certain taiwanese girl Soojin immediately spoke up. "I'll be going now, I'm tired and I want to sleep." but she was immediately stopped by Yuqi.

"Unnie wait." Yuqi was still catching her breath since Shuhua's room was at the end of the hall at the third floor and she just saw it not while ago.

It's been a few hours since the two of them fought and Shuhua left her.

"I'm really tired Yuqi sorry." Soojin continued to walk away, entering her room she locked the door.

She doesn't want to hear anything related to Shuhua for now.

Love is a wonderful thing, but sometimes things may never work out and you will have to say goodbye. This isn't the typical romance fiction where the other would chase the one who will be departing.

Though it may happen but the ending of it is that the other is gonna stop from leaving.

Saying goodbye to someone you love is the hardest thing to do. However, when circumstances force you to shift far away, you will have no choice but to say goodbye to that person.

The people we love in our lives have the capacity to change our lives forever. There are those we love only for them to end up breaking our hearts; there are those we love and our lives become much better.

Being in love with someone is something we cannot avoid in life. You dream, hope, and plan for your future together. We all know we have no control over how things end up. Therefore, when things do not work out with the person you love, you need to let go and move on with your life no matter how hard it might be. 

People say that time is the best healer. There are wounds that heal with time; you forget and move on. There are wounds that become blurry in your memory. There are wounds that do not heal no matter how hard you try. Given time, the wound still hurts as if it is a fresh wound.

Such wounds will only heal if you are gone too. Therefore, when you want to say goodbye to the love of your life, you need to give yourself time to heal. You will meet new people, have new life perspectives, and things will change with time. This is not a guarantee you will forget your past, but you will get used to the pain and you will learn to manage it.

Time will help you accept the reality of your situation and you will be able to face the world.

Shuhua smiled as she remembers all of Soojin's cute habits. She have been watching Soojin from afar since then, ever since she started studying there.

And now she won't be able to do that at all.

The rain started to pour as she wat h the droplets of it slide down on the window of the carriage.

She just departed and they are quite far now. Heading to the pier where she will be assisted by one of her uncle's friend.

She was more than happy to be with Soojin well although they weren't romantically together, she was still since she got the chance to confess what she truly feels for the older.

The carriage stopped and the flashing lights welcomed Shuhua.

The door of the carriage opened as the horseman accompanied her sharing the same umbrella together.

"I hope you'll have a safe trip Ms. Yeh." Shuhua smiled at the old man. "Cam you please give this to my uncle?" Shuhua shyly handed the box to the man.

"I will Ms. Yeh."

Yuqi has been pacing back and forth, "We should tell her or she won't get to see Sh-" Soyeon was cut off when the door flew open revealing a panting Miyeon and Minnie both holding a piece of paper.

"Shuhua is departing by now." Yuqi mumbled as she opens the paper again. She glance at the clock inside Soyeon's room. "Then we have to let them see each other." Miyeon spoke up.

"No."

The three look at Yuqi confused.

"The Shuhua I know wouldn't let anyone follow her because once anyone followed her, she wouldn't stop." Yuqi started.

"We fought awhile ago before she left, I saw her putting her things inside her bag. I know her. I know that she wouldn't stop." Yuqi added.

"I don't care, I know Soojin wants to see Shuhua right now if ever she knew Shuhua is departing right now." Soyeon blurted out but Yuqi wasn't surprised by it.

"If all of us got a letter from Shuhua then I am very sure that right at this moment, Soojin unnie is probably reading it right now and if she wants to see Shuhua she would've run outside to follow her." Yuqi concluded.

The door opened again revealing Soojin who was holding on the paper tightly. "Yuqi is right, if I want to see her right now then I would've been outside by now trying to run after her but no because if this is what she wants then I will respect it. I'm still mad at her family but I was blinded by my anger that led me to accusing Shuhua without knowing the other side of the story. I know she has a reason for leaving us." Soojin leaned on the door.

I wanna tell you something and it is the only words that I want to tell you.

Those words hold a very powerful meaning that even spells can't stand against it.

I know you probably hate me by all the things I have done but I wish someday when we got the chance to meet each other even if you are already with someone, I will always be there for you and say those three words for you.

I love you means so many things.

Remember when you confronted me at the rooftop, I thought it was my chance to talk with you even though I wasn't revealing myself but the unknown.

I was surprised really but it broke my heart when I heard those words from you.

But I also want to say sorry for what I said that night, my emotions got the best of me.

But I guess those words that were written on the stone already happened. We met, our souls met but us being together wasn't part of it and I think it was okay.

I left something in your drawer, I hope that you won't throw it out.
