Chapter 8 ; Again

The night was getting deeper, Shuhua slowly opened her eyes.

The only light inside her room was the lamp on her bedside table and from the moon.

She recalled what happened before she passed out.

She looks around, her body fully healed but her body aches when she tried to get up.

She found herself standing while looking down.

Wearing a new set of clothes.

She was at the rooftop trying to think things through, she was confused to what her father did and say. She just want to disappear in this world full of lies.

'I promise to come back when the time is right.' Shuhua thought.

She stayed there for a little while just admiring how the night was.

Guards were roaming around as the clock hits 10.

Curfew Time.

And yet again Soojin was not inside her room, she was inside the forest thinking of a certain girl.

She couldn't decipher why would she be linked to Shuhua.

Even when she was just a kid she haven't heard a single thing about the Yeh Family, if they are powerful or what.

The Yeh's are known widely in Taiwan along with the other clans and royalty.

Shuhua isn't an only child so basically her older sister is at Taiwan handling her supposed to be job.

Even though she have two sisters her grandfather and grandmother have alread chosen her even before se was born.

They've chosen her to be the next leader but she's too young to even have a big responsibility.

She tried to runaway but her father would always punish her.

When she was a kid she have always looked up to her father like he's the greatest man that she have ever met but she was wrong all along.

True colors started to come out.

And she was so selfish of leaving it all behind just to escape.

Summer break is coming and students are expected to go back to their hometown and for the past two years Shuhua have been staying inside her room when it's holidays or sometimes at the town since Yuqi always go back to China.

Shuhua darted her eyes down when she noticed a commotion happening.

'Not again.'

she thought.

she wants to take a rest but she have her priorities.

Her energy was drained from all the sleeping that she did so she can't use her magic.

She run down the stairs fast as she can.

Hiding behind the wall she heard the guards talking.

"I swear I saw girl by the log sitting."

"Come on let's check it to be sure."

From afar Shuhua can see a familiar silhouette behind a tree.

Quietly as she can she started to walk towards it while looking around trying not to get caught.

"Come on before they get you." hearing the familiar deep voice, Soojin turns around only to see Shuhua behind her.

"You're awake now." Soojin hugged Shuhua but she immediately pulled away feeling embarrassed.

"Yes but now let's go." Shuhua pulled Soojin but the wrist as she looks around making sure no one was around.

The guards were at the third floor and fourth floor by now according to Shuhua's calculations so she don't have a choice.

Securing the place they went inside Soojin's room.

The room was same as her but she noticed some pictures frames on the table.

"Don't worry I'll be out in a few after the guards completely left the dormitory." Shuhua spoke up but it wasn't what Soojin want to hear.

She admits that she have a little tiny crush on the younger but she's sure it nothing more and nothing less.

But she realized something but she couldn't just ask that to Shuhua.

'Their voice is the same.'

'Their magic is also the same.'

'And this scenario already happened before.'

Thoughts were running inside Soojin's head like a roadrunner.

Shuhua was sitting on the bed while staring at the older one who wasn't even moving a single muscle at all.

So she stood up and pulled Soojin to sit with her.

"How have you been? We haven't talked when we came back after that little time traveling that we did." Shuhua aks.

She's been vocal of her interests.

"I'm fine, I should asking you that."

"I'm literally fine, I even had a quick exercise of running down the stairs." Shuhua let out a small chuckle as she out her hands behind her leaning her body weight on it.

Her eyes were focused on Soojin.

Not until they heard a knock from the door.

That's when they noticed that the lamp was open.

Soojin was panicking not until she felt a hand on her waist. "Pretend that you're sleeping." Shuhua whispered as she hid herself under the blanket behind Soojin.

Their position was quite uncomfortable but Shuhua is enjoying every bits of it.

The door opened revealing Soyeon.

"Soyeon~ah." Soojin smiles nervously.

"I just want to check on you, Are you with someone just awhile ago?" Soyeon asks curiously. Her room is just beside Soojin and she can perfectly hear and identify that Soojin isn't alone inside the room.

So she decided to check on hee friend.

"I was just about to sleep, I've been thinking some things so you're probably hearing me talking to my self." Soojin answered.

Shuhua almost laugh at how Soojin lied so she carefully wrapped her arms around Soojin's waist.

Soojin widened her eyes at Shuhua's action.

"Okay, I got to go it's curfew time. Sleep well."

'I might just sleep here.' Shuhua thought.

Shuhua's head popped out and her arms were still on Soojin's waist, she snuggled on the older ones neck.

"I'll stay for the night." Shuhua muttered a little muffled.

Soojin was taken a back by it.

But she let go of her worries for now as she lets herself enjoy Shuhua's warmth against her own.

When Soyeon was finally inside her room she rolled her eyes, shaking her head in disbelief.

"Talking to herself, didn't even work." Soyeon laugh when she hears Shuhua's voice from the other side.

It's one of her abilities she can literally hear even the farthest sound.

"Let's sleep." Soyeon turned around and smile at the girl.
