Changmin felt empty without his best friend Younghoon around. Since the latter moved out from their shared apartment, Changmin was not used to it.
And somehow, he felt guilty.
"Why can't this guilt stop bothering me?" he asks himself. "I never told him to leave, he did it himself."
Wanting to shrug off the guilt that is slowly eating him, Changmin decided to go out for a walk. This is what he always do whenever he is bothered by something.
The city wasn't that busy like what Changmin has expected. There were people strolling around, by they aren't that many. Most of them are just some passerby, and Changmin is probably one of them.
Changmin walked further downtown spotted a familiar face that was about to walk past him. Swiftly, he grabbed the familiar person by the wrist, making it to stop from walking.
"How is it going after you broke up with Younghoon, Jisu?" Changmin asks the girl while still gripping her left wrist. "Are you doing good or what?"
"What do you think?" Jisu scoffed. "Is breaking up with Younghoon not enough? What do you still want?"
The corner of Changmin's lips twitched until it turned into a smirk. "What do you think?" he whispered. "You need to apologize for cheating on him with his best friend."
The street where Changmin and Jisu were in is all clear, no sign of people passing by. They wouldn't talk such private things in a public place if it's too crowded.
"I never cheated on him," Jisu hissed. "We did that thing because you made me drunk on purpose. I never knew that you could do such things like that."
"Come on," Changmin breathed out. "Don't act like we fucked because we only had a make out session."
"You have my trust because we know each other for years already, but you are just some two-faced bastard."
Changmin's grip on Jisu's wrist tightened, but he immediately let go after.
"I know, but still, thank you," Changmin smiled. "Anyways, Younghoon moved out."
"What the fuck did you do this time?" asked Jisu as she already knew how Changmin thinks.
Changmin only shrugged his shoulders. "We fought and he can't stand it anymore."
"I can't imagine how insane you are, Ji Changmin," Jisu huffed. "Why are you treating him like that? He is the only one that you have now."
"Don't worry about it," Changmin reassures her with a smile, making his dimple to pop out. "He's gonna come back."
"I can't believe you," Jisu mouthed out in disbelief before she turned on her heel and walked away.
With an amused look on his face, Changmin continued on his way. This was the first time that he saw Jisu after she broke up with Younghoon.
As for what happened to Changmin and Jisu before, it was all unintentional. They were both drunk at that time, but Changmin regained all of his senses after seeing who is he making out with.
Jisu believed that Changmin did that on purpose, but he did not. Changmin himself pursued Jisu to believe that he did it intentionally just because he wanted to mess up with people's lives.
That was the reason why Jisu broke up with Younghoon. She felt bad but she never told Younghoon about it. She lied about the reason on why he broke up with him.
And there was Changmin, always winning.
"What a day," Changmin breathed out as he stopped on walking once again. He then looked around and saw two familiar faces.
But they weren't just familiar faces to him because it was Juyeon and Sunhee, walking on the street with their hands held together.
Balling his fists out of jealousy, Changmin remained the calm look on his face.
"Changmin?" Juyeon called out after noticing the latter.
Changmin immediately let out a smile as his eyes landed on Juyeon, then to Sunhee, and lastly, to their hands that are still clasped together.
Sunhee could not help but to feel scared at Changmin's presence after what he did to her. But since she is with Juyeon, she felt much safer.
"Hey," Changmin greeted before he pointed out Sunhee and Juyeon's hand. "What's with the holding of hands? Am I missing something?" he asked innocently.
Sunhee frowned, but Juyeon grinned before saying, "We are dating."
"Oh, wow," Changmin exclaimed as if he was surprised. "Unexpected to hear that but still, I'm happy for the two of you."
They talked for a bit before bidding their goodbye to each other.
"Dating, huh?" Changmin scoffed after the couple left. "There would be no more dating after I cut your head off, Lee Juyeon."
