~ Harry ~

Louis is absolutely breathtaking. It's hard to look at anything else when he exist.

I've been looking at him all dinner, I really can't help it. He's already dressed in the clothes we bought today and it looks amazing on him. The green fits his skin tone very well. His collarbones are shown since he doesn't have all the buttons up.

The party is about to start and I'm really nervous. I'm not good with meeting new people and I'm scared that they will hate my suit.

"We'll be there in a minute." Louis tells Thomas. "Follow me, curly." He grabs my hand this time (normally he grabs my wrist) and I hold him tightly.

We walk to our rooms and he falls on the bed, pulling me down with him. I lay in my side whilst looking at Louis. Our hands are still linked.

"Lay on your back." He orders.

Sexual fantasies flash through my head but when I lay on my back, I see stars. Glow in the dark stars are all over the ceiling. "Do you like them?" I hear Louis ask me. "I don't like the dark, this helps and it looks pretty."

"I love it." I say truthfully.

"Good, removing these is a horrible job." Louis says. I laugh and I feel him tightening grip (our hands are still locked).

"Did you bring me here to show me the stars?" I ask. He shakes his head. "No, the stars were supposed to be a surprise for after the party." He says. "I brought you here because you're nervous and you shouldn't be."

"I'm not-" I try to deny but he interrupts me: "you are, why?"

"Because they won't like me." I mumble. He frowns but keeps looking at the stars. "Why would you think that?" He asks.

"Because I don't look like them. And I don't act like them." I say.

"What do they look like? And what do they act like?" He asks.

I think about it carefully before I answer. "They wear black and white, it's classy. They have pretty jewellery and their hair looks perfect because they use expensive hair gel." I say. "They act all proper and fancy and they're just better than I am."

"I like what you're wearing, a lot. We can buy jewellery if you want, and if Thomas agrees to letting us spend all his money." He says and I laugh. "Your hair will by far look the best, curly. And no, they're definitely not better than you are."

He intertwines our fingers and the movement gives me butterflies.

"I think I'm ready now." I say. Louis pulls me with him off the bed and we walk downstairs, our hands still intertwining. I recognize the song "moonlight bay" by Henry Burr.

Louis is unbelievable. I am gone for two minutes, talking to my aunt, and he thinks that means that he can go and talk to other people.

Louis could've just walked with me, but instead he goes and talk with other people. I know he's allowed to talk to other people, but still.

He's talking to girls with black glittery dresses. He makes the girls laugh and the girls are clearly into him.

Louis is not thinking about me at all, while I told him that I was nervous about tonight. He knows that I don't like to engage with new people.

I feel like crying. Everyone is judging me and I just wanted to have a fun time with Louis.

~ Louis ~

After walking downstairs, Harry's aunt started to talk to Harry. I shortly talked to her but I didn't want to ruin their family conversation so I left to talk to other people.

Three girls walked up to me and offered me something to drink, I wasn't really planning on drinking anything without Harry so I politely declined.

The girls seem drunk even though the party only started 20 minutes ago. I think it's just their personality, not alcohol, that makes them so... Interesting.

But after a short conversation they start giggling too much. They touch me a little more than in a friendly way. And the looks they give me make me uncomfortable.

"Thanks for keeping me company, but I got to go back to someone." I almost scream because the music is very loud.

"What?" One of the girls yells back.

"I couldn't hear you I just saw your mouth move." Another girl laughs historically.

I lean forward and scream into their ears: "I got to go!" I try to walk away but one girl grabs my neck and holds me in my place.

"Come back to us later, tiny boy." She says in my ear.

"I'm not tiny!" I yell. The girls start laughing loudly and I laugh while pulling away.

I wave a goodbye and when I turn around I see Harry, looking very sad. I walk towards him but he quickly turns around and leaves the ballroom.

I run after him and I run straight to our bedroom, knowing he's probably in there. I open the door of our bedroom and I see him laying on my side of the bed. He lays on his side and I can only see his back.

"Curly...." I begin. I close the door behind me and I take off the fancy shoes Thomas gave me. I climb on the bed and I lay my hand on his side.

"Who are those girls?" He asks almost inaudible.

"I don't know, I didn't want to bother you while you were talking to your aunt so I decided to talk to other people." I tell him.

"So you're just very close to strangers? Their faces were practically pushed into yours." He says. "They were clearly flirting with you and you didn't even think about me."

"I don't care about them, I just want to spend time with you." I say, hoping that it'll makes him feel better.

"You left me." He whispers and he sounds really hurt. The way he sounds so broken just because I wasn't with him for ten minutes makes me want to cry.

"I'm sorry.' I say honestly. And he turns on his back so he's facing me. His eyes, nose and ears are red. He pouts a little and when I look at his lower lip he sucks it into his mouth and bites it.

I know he's holding in his tears and the feeling of guilt is practically killing me right now. I know I didn't do anything wrong, but he's clearly upset so I'm upset too.

I stand up and open the door ajar so we can hear the music. I stand next to the bed and hold my hand out.

"Will you dance with me, curly?"
