Caged - Unleash the Beast

Chapter 6 - Execution

"We ready?" Jake asked, as they stood at the border of the forest.
"Ready then ever." Rider nodded as Tyson rode up beside him.
"I have your back mousebrain." Tyson said before placing a hand on Rider's shoulder.
"Do you have any respect for the captain?" James questioned Tyson.
"Sorry, Rider." Tyson murmured, lowering his head.
"Let's do this." Jake nodded as he rode into the forest.
"We will go by the stream, then to the waterfall and follow any scent." James instructed them.
Suddenly a pain splitting cry filled the air, Rider looked at Jake before racing ahead.

Jackie screamed as Apollo twisted her arm around behind her back, the dagger laid on the bank after he had disarmed her.
"Now did you really think I didn't notice the dagger?" Apollo asked her, shaking his head in disappointment.
"No. I knew you saw it." Jackie moaned as Apollo tightened his grip.
"Then why bother?" Apollo asked, as he squeezed harder.
"Ooh, I don't know..." She shrugged before pushing off the bank and pushing them into the water.
Apollo let go of her at the sudden force, freed she scrambled up the bank and grabbed the dagger. She was on her back on the bank which wasn't a very good position to be in, whilst holding a dagger. Apollo stormed up the bank towards her, causing her to scramble further up the bank.

Sam sighed when Tiren climbed up the tree. "What do you want?"
"For you not to smell." Tiren complained as she unlocked the gate.
"Great." Sam moaned, rolling his eyes as he began to climb down the tree.
"Oh, stop complaining." Tiren scolded him as she followed.
Sam sighed as he landed heavily on the ground, once Tiren joined him they began the trek to the stream. As they walked past women his age, he noticed them all watching, their cheeks rosy red and some tried to avoid eye-contact.
"Keep walking, Romeo." Tiren sighed shoving him slightly.
"I am." He snapped back at her before throwing his arm out of her grip.
Tiren lead the way, keeping side by side Sam as they walked the forest. By the time they had reached the waterfall, Sam was worn out. He hadn't walked that far for a number of days, puffed he sat down on a log a took a breathe.
"Out of shape are we Romeo?" Tiren teased him.
"You know that's not my name." Sam murmured under his breathe.
Before anything else could be said, they heard a pain staking scream chill the air. Panics struck Sam as he recognised the scream, it was Jackie.

Jackie held out the dagger straight at Apollo. "Don't come any closer." She warned him.
"Or what? Your going to run like you did before?" Apollo mocked her.
"Or I can shove through you heart." Jackie stated as she stood up. "Pass me my clothing."
Apollo shook his head before bending and picking up her clothing, she chucked it at her feet. Jackie bent down and grabbed her pants first, she slipped them up with a little trouble. Her shirt was another question, she had to keep an eye on Apollo so she quickly out her arms through and pulled her shirt over her head. Before she could react Apollo had pushed her against the tree, one hand holding both her hands above her head the other on her cheek. Before she could resist Apollo leaned against her, pushing her into the tree. She suddenly felt his warm lips against her, she tried to pull away but yet Apollo held tight.

Sam raced towards the scream before Tiren could stop him, he jumped over logs and weaved through trees. His heart racing and mind set on helping Jackie he skidded around the corner. He was about 50 metres away from where they had killed the jungle cat, he knew that was where they were. Tiren wasn't far off behind him, not having as good of a start as Sam did she fell behind slightly. Sam had reached the bushes only to find Jackie pinned against the tree and Tiren's brother kissing her passionately.
"Get off her..." Sam was about to storm out only to be tackled by Tiren.
Jackie looked at Sam, a distressed look on her face. Sam felt powerless as he was being held down by Tiren. He didn't know what he could do if he could get up, his first reaction would be to pull Apollo off Jackie and then start an all out fist fight. Sam suddenly rolled, Tiren not expecting it let go. Sam charged up to Tiren's brother and wrangled him off Jackie, before he could react Sam clenched his fist and got him right in the nose.
