Liras POV
I still sit up on that roof and think of you, I wonder if you ever think of me too.
Selfish I know seeing as I'm the one who ran but I came back like i always do and you, you haven't.The winter sun shone down on me warming me the best it could with its weak rays but it's enough to make smile.
"Hey little" Finns voice pulled me out of my head.
"Hey" I whispered. Back to him as he sat down putting his arm around me. I leant In his side, the side that has been there for me throughout every break down and every rough patch.
We sat there looking out over the city skyline as the sunset bathed it in gold."When do you leave for uni?" I asked him breaking the silence.
"Next week." He said. It felt weird knowing my best friends were all starting their lives in new places.
"Rome or Paris?" I said out of nowhere.
"What?" The confusion evident in his voice as he looked at me.
"Where do I start Paris or Rome." I said simply.
"You're really leaving then?" He said as if he didn't actually expect me to go.
I looked at him and smiled softly contrasting his cocktail of emotions drawn on his face."I mean what's keeping me here. He's gone. And you guys I mean Finn you and Lexi are off to Brighton for uni. Emma got her Column in some fancy magazine. Jamie's starting his business. Lily got into art college in London. Sara's got that job at her cousins tattoo parlour and kit has an his internship at Nat Geographic. There's nothing here me anymore" I said speaking truthfully to him. Because there really was nothing left for me in this city,
"I need to find myself and i know she not hiding somewhere in this city trust me I looked." I said letting out a small breathy laugh, which made him laugh too.
"I'm gonna miss you short stack." He said sobering himself up placing a friendly kiss on the top of my head.
He looked down at his watch before sighing."Well Lira I gotta go need to finish packing and you should start." He said pulling me in once more before he climbed off of the roof and started walking away.
"Hey Anderson?" He said turning back to me.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"I hope you find it." And with that he was gone.
"Me too mate me too"
