Honestly, Tam was having second thoughts. He didn't want to go through with this, after getting to know Biana. She was perfectly sweet and kind, and meant no harm to anyone.
She doesn't deserve this.
Tam thought as he approached Everglen Manor.
Biana met him at the front garden.
"You're not ready to face me Dad's wrath yet." She explained when he asked why she'd met him outside. "So where are we going?"
Tam took a moment to pretend like he wasn't pressured into this and looked at Biana's outfit. A casual light pink top with a gray skirt.
"It's a surprise. And you look great."
His heart fluttered as she beamed. "Then I can't wait to find out where we're going." She said.
Tam took her to a movie theatre, where he let her select the movie they'd be watching.
"They're having a special showing of Moulin Rouge! Oh but it's sold out."
Tam chuckled, and pulled two tickets out from behind his back. "How'd I know that'd the one you'd choose."
Then at the concession stand, he noticed Biana's large smile as he selected a small popcorn and junior mints.
"That's my favorite too. I love-"
"Putting them in the popcorn."
Biana laughed and Tam's heart swelled. He changed the popcorn to a medium.
During the movie, Biana was shocked to hear Tam had never seen it.
She curled up beside him and they shared their popcorn with the junior mints mixed in.
Tam's heart was beating way to fast for it to be normal.
Then it happened. It was obviously Biana's favorite scene. The movie was almost over, and Biana's million dollar smile was showing.
Tam's face turned red, as they both reach for the popcorn and their hand's touched. His face had already been pink from when Biana had put her head on his shoulder.
After the movie, it turned out to be raining.
"Sorry, I didn't check the weather." Tam shrugged off his coat and gave it to her.
Biana snuggled into his arm. "I don't mind. I think it's perfect."
