Tam stirred and woke up. There was his sister, sobbing beside him. There was an IV in his arm, and a lot of machines hooked up to him.
Lihn looked up. "You're awake! Tammy!" She cried harder.
"Where's Fitz?" Tam groaned.
"He's with Biana."
"Biana...I want to see Biana."
"Tam you can't." Lihn said.
"Why not?"
Instead of responding, Lihn stood up and opened a curtain that separated the room. On the other side was Fitz, clutching the hand of a pale brown haired girl. Alden and Della Vacker were crying.
"Bi-Biana." Then Tam passed out.
