Tam bought a ticket for the opening night of Brigerton. In the very back where nobody could see him. He wanted to support Biana, even if it meant watching her from far away.
It was crowded as he entered the dimly lit auditorium. He thought it would be best to not distract anyone so he entered during the overture.
Biana was the first person on the stage, followed by more girls dressed as older important looking ladies.
Sophie made a wonderful Eloise. She really did mean some of the things she said. She decided to swear off dating earlier in the school year after Fitz and Keefe started crushing on her.
And Biana, he had no words left. She started her song, which according to the program was called Balancing the Scales. She looked out into the audience and in the back saw a familiar set of silvery blue eyes.
Tam assumed she believed he was Lihn, but when she sang something about Edmund, which is Tam was paying attention he'd know it's was Biana's character's dead husband. When she sang the line, she reached out to him.
She had literal tears in her eyes and started singing directly to him.
When the spotlight on her disappeared and everyone started clapping, Tam was trying not to look like an emotional freak as he cried.
When the show was over all he wanted to do was get out of there. He didn't want to have to live with the heartache anymore.
He went to a busy street, and decided to walk into the traffic.
But somebody pulled him back by the wrist.
