                          Hi! Thanks for being here :)
                          This story is for the Open Novella Contest, inspired by prompt #23:

                          "Under the blue moonlight, the elves come out. For a transient moment, let there be peace and harmony."
                          I'm changing 'elves' to 'nereids' because I really wanted to write something that takes place near the water, with the ocean playing a big part in the story. Plus, nereids are basically elves of the water :) hopefully the change doesn't exclude me from using the prompt.
