"i called it," johnny said, receiving a slap on the arm from taeil.

"not the time, johnny," the eldest said.

"sorry," he apologised, "but like seriously, is he okay?" he asked, genuinely worried for jungwoo.

"i'm not really sure. he seems worse than donghyuck was and he has a higher temperature. luckily he hasn't thrown up too much though," taeyong told them.

it turns out jungwoo did end up getting sick from cuddling with donghyuck while the younger was sick. johnny had said that jungwoo could possibly get sick from it, but they didn't think that it would actually happen. luckily he got sick the day after donghyuck got better, so they didn't have to deal with two sick people.

"shouldn't one of us stay with him?" doyoung then asked, making taeyong nod.

"yeah. i mean donghyuck and mark are at the dream dorm right now, jaehyun's still sleeping, and yuta... actually o don't know where yuta is but he's probably doing some dumb stuff," taeyong explained.

"who's going to stay with him then?" taeil questioned.

"who has the most free time?" taeyong said, "i have to go do some stuff today so it can't be me."

"johnny and i have to go out as well," the oldest said, and they all turned to doyoung.

doyoung stared back at them for a few seconds before sighing. "fine, i'll stay with him. even though i'd rather be sleeping right now."

"oh shut up, we know you care," taeil scoffed.

doyoung rolled his eyes. "okay, but if i end up getting sick, it's your fault."

"if you don't want to get sick, just stay away from him," johnny told him. "anyway, we're going to head out."

the three left and doyoung was left there with a sick jungwoo by himself. he stared at the younger for a few seconds before sitting back on his bed, going on his phone.

it was around half an hour later when jungwoo woke up and immediately rushed out of bed. doyoung knew exactly where he was going and it made him sigh. he got up and followed the younger to the bathroom, greeted by him knelt on the floor in front of the toilet.

"if i get sick from this..." he said before walking inside the bathroom.

he rubbed the younger's back, hoping that it would help, luckily it did and around three minutes later he finished throwing up. doyoung sighed and helped him stand up and wash his mouth out.

he then guided him back to bed and helped him lay back down. that time, instead of doyoung going back to his own bed. he sat on the edge of jungwoo's bed. he watched as jungwoo immediately fell asleep while they were holding hands.

he honestly was worried for jungwoo. i mean who wouldn't be? yes, he acted as if he didn't care, but he obviously did. of course he didn't want to get sick, but he still didn't mind looking after jungwoo since he wanted the other to get better.

he also missed the chaotic jungwoo that would usually wake up up every morning. it was only one day that he hadn't been woken up by jungwoo, but he already missed it for some reason.

doyoung sighed for probably the 100th time that day, about to go back to his own bed, but ended up stopping due to the sick male not letting go of his hand. he furrowed his eyebrows and tried to pull his hand away again, as gently as he could, but all he got was jungwoo holding onto his hand tighter.

doyoung smiled slightly and shook his head. "fine, i'll stay here, but seriously if i get sick, i'll be killing you once you get better."

the older ended up staying with him until the others came back, jaehyun woke up, or yuta appeared from wherever he was. the three eldest ended up coming back first and took over looking after jungwoo, but doyoung still stayed in the room, which confused them since they thought that he would of left as soon as they got back. they didn't question it though.

after a couple days, jungwoo got better and doyoung didn't have to kill jungwoo. yuta also appeared eventually. turns out he was at the wayv dorm visiting sicheng.
