donghyuck woke up feeling particularly happy today. he wasn't sure why he was in such a good mood, but he was and had a massive boost on energy as soon as he had opened his eyes. he was usually a very cheerful person, but today just felt different. but, he definitely wasn't complaining, it was way better than waking up in a terrible mood and struggling to get out of bed.
the group were going to start filming the 2 baddies music video, and that made him even more excited to be honest. and once he was dressed, he instantly bounced out of the room, being greeted with the other members there, who noticed his good mood.
he was in such a rush to get out of the dorm, that he just grabbed a bit of fruit to eat instead of sitting down and having a proper breakfast. taeyong, of course, tried to convince him to sit down and eat, but donghyuck refused and told the older he was fine with a bright smile on his face.
after realising they weren't going to be able to convince the youngest, they decided to just leave and make their way to the set where they would be filming. the entire drive, donghyuck wouldn't stop talking, chatting to the other members (who were listening to his rant) about how ecstatic he was to start filming the music video.
once they arrived, donghyuck wasted no time in rushing out of the van and heading towards the building, he heard a few of his hyungs calling after him to slow down, but he wasn't paying attention to them. although, once he got to the entrance, he decided to wait for the others to catch up so they could go in together. once they caught up, the members all went in with one of their managers who seemed to be looking for someone.
it was then when they noticed the small huddle of people talking about something, they seemed to be nervous and worried. their manger walked over, the members following close behind. when they got closer, they realised that their other manage was in the small group as well, talking to the rest that seemed like staff.
the manager who had drove with them was the first to ask what was going on. "what's going on? did something happen?" they all turned to him when the question was asked.
"we're not entirely sure what to do," a staff member spoke, pausing for a second before continuing, "one of our lights is a little unstable. we think it'll be fine, but we aren't completely sure." she pointed towards the side where the unstable light was. it wasn't large, quite small actually, but if it happened to hit anyone, it might cause a bit of an injury.
"how unstable is it?" the manger stood with he members asked. he didn't want anything bad happening.
"it's not that bad and it's a quite a small light as well. besides, it's not like it's going to be moved around or bashed a lot, so it should be okay. we just wanted to clarify if it was okay with you first," another staff member spoke, a male this time.
